Practical Advice
To ensure maximum protection, always perform a fit check before entering a contaminated area. Place both hands over the mask and exhale sharply; if you feel air escaping around the nose or the edges, readjust the aluminium nose clip and the elastic bands until a perfect seal is achieved. Please note that the presence of facial hair can significantly reduce the effectiveness of the seal, so a clean-shaven face is recommended for the best results.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the effectiveness of a disposable respirator requires proper storage and handling. These masks are designed for single-shift use and should be discarded once they become damp, damaged, or if breathing resistance increases. Keeping them in their individual polybags until the moment of use prevents the filtration material from attracting ambient dust, which would otherwise reduce its lifespan.
You must never attempt to wash, bleach, or tumble dry these respirators. Submerging the Meltblown Polypropylene in water or applying heat will destroy the electrostatic charge that makes the filter work, effectively turning a professional piece of safety equipment into a simple piece of cloth. For the sake of your lungs, always use a fresh mask when the current one has served its purpose.
