Product Overview
The Trifold Valved Dolomite FFP3 Respirator represents a high-water mark in disposable respiratory protection, specifically engineered to provide the highest level of filtration for those working in hazardous environments. This pack of ten masks features a sophisticated trifold design that allows the respirator to move in tandem with the wearer's facial expressions. Unlike more rigid cup-shaped masks, this flexibility ensures a consistent, secure seal is maintained while speaking or moving, providing reliable protection against fine dusts, mists, and biological agents. For professionals who require consistent protection throughout their shift, this respirator offers a combination of safety and ergonomics that is difficult to surpass.
Key Features
- The flexible trifold design adapts effortlessly to a variety of face shapes and sizes, ensuring a personalised fit and a more secure seal against the skin.
- An integrated soft nose foam provides a cushioned contact point, which significantly improves long-term comfort and helps prevent the mask from digging into the bridge of the nose.
- The high-performance exhalation valve is designed to reduce the accumulation of heat and moisture inside the mask, making it much more comfortable for use during strenuous tasks.
- Dolomite clogging tested (D) certification ensures that the filter remains breathable and effective for longer, even in environments with exceptionally high levels of fine dust.
- Individually wrapped polybags keep each respirator hygienic and sterile until the moment of use, which is particularly useful for storage in toolboxes or vending machines.
Design & Performance
This respirator is constructed using a multi-layered approach, featuring both spunblown and meltblown polypropylene. These synthetic fabrics are selected for their ability to trap microscopic particles while allowing for a reasonable rate of airflow. The trifold structure is reinforced with mono PU and elastic straps that provide the necessary tension to hold the mask firmly in place without causing undue pressure on the head. A discreet aluminium nose clip allows for precise contouring; this is a vital feature for those who wear safety glasses or goggles, as it helps to direct exhaled air away from the eyes, thereby reducing the risk of lens fogging. Despite its robust filtration capabilities, the materials used remain lightweight, ensuring the mask does not feel heavy or intrusive during extended wear.
Why No Customisation?
We do not offer customisation, such as printing or embroidery, on this specific FFP3 respirator. As a critical piece of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), any modification to the material—whether through the heat of a transfer or the puncture of an embroidery needle—would compromise the integrity of the filtration layers. To ensure the product meets its safety certification and provides you with the intended level of protection, it must remain in its original, manufactured state.
Use Cases
This respirator is an essential piece of equipment for a wide range of demanding professions. It is highly recommended for construction workers, carpenters, and welders who are regularly exposed to fine particulates. Furthermore, its high filtration rating makes it suitable for healthcare settings, including doctors, dentists, and veterinary surgeons. It is also well-suited for specialized tasks such as chemical handling, professional cleaning, and tree surgery, where airborne irritants are a constant concern.

Practical Advice
To ensure you are getting the full benefit of FFP3 protection, it is vital to perform a fit check every time you don the mask. Please be aware that facial hair can significantly interfere with the seal; for the best protection, the wearer should be clean-shaven in the areas where the mask meets the skin. When fitting the mask, use both hands to shape the aluminium nose clip rather than pinching it with one hand, as this ensures a smoother contour and a better seal around the nasal bridge.
Caring for your product
To maintain the safety standards of this respirator, it should be treated as a single-use item. Once a shift is completed, or if the mask becomes damaged or difficult to breathe through, it must be disposed of. Attempting to wash or mechanically clean a disposable respirator will destroy the electrostatic charge within the filtration fibres, making the mask ineffective against invisible hazards.
Always store your unused, individually wrapped respirators in a cool, dry environment. Exposure to high humidity or direct sunlight during storage can lead to the degradation of the elastic straps and the internal foam, which could result in a poor fit when the mask is eventually needed. By keeping the respirators in their original polybags until required, you ensure they remain free from contaminants and ready for service.
