Product Overview

The Sealtex Ultra Hi-Vis Rain Coverall is a sophisticated solution for professionals requiring full-body protection against the elements without sacrificing mobility. Engineered from premium Sealtex Ultra fabric, this coverall is distinguished by its exceptionally soft handle, which eliminates the stiff, restrictive feel often associated with traditional waterproof garments. It is purposefully designed with a generous fit to be worn comfortably over existing work attire, ensuring you remain dry and visible in the most challenging British weather conditions.

Key Features

  • Sealtex Ultra Fabric: This 100% polyester tricot knit with a PU coating provides a superior barrier against wind and rain while remaining flexible.
  • Double Storm Flap: This feature provides a secondary seal over the primary closure, effectively preventing water ingress even in driving rain.
  • Side Access Openings: Strategically placed to allow the wearer to reach pockets in their under-garments without having to remove the coverall.
  • Concealed Hood: Offers versatile protection that can be stowed away when not required, preventing it from becoming a snag hazard.
  • High Visibility Orange: Ensures maximum compliance and safety in environments where being seen is a critical requirement.

Design & Performance

The technical core of this garment is the Sealtex Ultra material. Unlike standard PVC-heavy alternatives, this tricot knit polyester is lightweight and supple. The PU coating is expertly applied to ensure a waterproof finish that does not crack or harden in cold temperatures. Because the fabric is inherently flexible, it allows for a full range of movement, which is essential for tradespeople working at height or in confined spaces. The design prioritises durability and user comfort, making it a reliable choice for long shifts in inclement weather.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

At MyWorkwear, we understand that your clothing is a reflection of your professional standards. This coverall is suitable for both print and embroidery. For a detailed and enduring corporate identity, our high-quality embroidery service is recommended for company logos on the chest area. If you require large, high-impact branding across the back, our precision printing methods ensure your message remains bold and clear. Our in-house team in Telford has been perfecting these techniques since 1976, ensuring every garment meets our rigorous quality benchmarks.

Use Cases

This coverall is an essential item for a wide variety of sectors. It is particularly well-suited for construction site workers, tree surgeons, and civil engineers who require comprehensive waterproof protection. Its high-visibility credentials also make it appropriate for security personnel, plumbers, and mechanics who may find themselves working outdoors or in high-traffic environments where safety and dryness are paramount.

Why MyWorkwear

Choosing MyWorkwear means partnering with a company that has over four decades of expertise. Established in 1976, we have grown from a small operation into a leading UK provider of customised workwear. Based in Telford, our expert team manages the entire customisation process in-house, ensuring that the garment you receive is technically sound and professionally finished.

Practical Advice

As this garment is designed as an outer layer to be worn over standard work trousers and jackets, we recommend selecting your usual size. The generous cut already accounts for the bulk of under-garments. Ensure the concealed hood is properly adjusted to maintain peripheral vision while in use.

Caring for your product

To maintain the high-visibility performance and waterproof integrity of the Sealtex Ultra fabric, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. High temperatures or aggressive cycles can damage the PU coating and reduce the effectiveness of the garment.

Bleaching agents must be avoided at all costs, as they will degrade the polyester fibres and dull the high-visibility orange pigment. Similarly, the garment should not be tumble dried; instead, we advise drip line drying. This allows the fabric to dry naturally without the risk of heat-induced shrinkage or delamination.

Do not iron or dry clean this coverall. Direct heat from an iron will melt the PU coating and tricot knit, rendering the garment useless. Finally, please note that this garment is rated for a maximum of 25 washes to ensure it continues to meet safety standards for visibility.
