Product Overview

The Hi-Vis Polycotton Service Coverall is a robust garment engineered for professionals who require maximum visibility without sacrificing the longevity of their workwear. Built from a substantial Kingsmill fabric blend, this coverall is designed to withstand the rigours of industrial environments while providing a comfortable, secure fit for extended shifts. The integration of high-performance reflective tape across the arms, legs, chest, and shoulders ensures the wearer remains conspicuous in low-light conditions from all angles.

Key Features

  • Industrial Wash Hi-VisTex Tape: Premium reflective tape is applied to the shoulders, chest, arms, and legs, ensuring you remain visible to colleagues and vehicle operators even in high-traffic or poorly lit work zones.
  • Elasticated Waist: A cleverly integrated elastic section at the waist provides a secure yet flexible fit, allowing for a full range of movement without the garment feeling restrictive.
  • Rugged Heavyweight Fabric: The choice of a substantial polycotton blend ensures the coverall can handle the daily abrasions typical of technical trades.
  • High-Visibility Orange: The vibrant colourway is specifically selected to meet safety requirements and provide a clear visual signal of your presence on site.

Design & Performance

At the heart of this coverall is the Kingsmill fabric, a blend of 80% polyester and 20% cotton. This composition strikes a deliberate balance between the high-tensile strength of polyester and the natural breathability of cotton. The result is a heavyweight fabric that feels substantial and protective, yet remains comfortable enough for a full day's work. The rugged design is reinforced to ensure it outlasts standard alternatives, making it a dependable choice for those who are hard on their gear.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This coverall is an excellent canvas for company branding. For a truly professional and long-lasting appearance, we recommend embroidery for your company logo or staff names. It provides a textured, premium finish that stands up well to industrial laundering. If you require large, bold graphics or safety messaging on the back, our high-quality print services are an ideal solution. Every customisation project is handled by our expert in-house team at our Telford facility, drawing on decades of experience since we were established in 1976.

Use Cases

Given its high-visibility properties and durable construction, this service coverall is the preferred choice for a variety of demanding sectors. It is particularly well-suited for professionals in construction, tree surgery, and heavy machinery maintenance. Plumbers, electricians, and mechanics will also find the full-body protection and visibility features essential for working in environments where safety and cleanliness are paramount.

Why MyWorkwear

MyWorkwear has been a cornerstone of the UK workwear industry since 1976. Operating from our base in Telford, we combine traditional craftsmanship with modern technology to deliver garments that meet the highest standards. We understand the specific needs of the British workforce, ensuring every piece of customisation we produce is as durable as the garment it sits upon.

Practical Advice

When selecting your size, consider the layers you intend to wear underneath. This coverall is designed as a protective outer layer, so choosing your standard size should allow sufficient room for a base layer or sweatshirt. Ensure the reflective tape is kept clean, as dirt and grease can diminish its reflective efficiency over time.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and high-visibility properties of this garment, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 50°C using a mild process. Exceeding this temperature may damage the internal fibres and compromise the reflective tape.

Bleaching agents must be avoided at all costs, as they will degrade the polyester-cotton blend and dull the high-visibility orange pigment. To preserve the shape and prevent shrinkage, do not tumble dry this coverall. Instead, we recommend drip line drying, which allows the garment to retain its professional silhouette.

If ironing is required, use a maximum temperature of 150°C to remove creases without scorching the fabric. Please note that this item is not suitable for dry cleaning. To remain compliant with safety standards, the garment should be replaced after a maximum of 50 washes, as the reflective properties may begin to diminish beyond this point.
