Product Overview
The Hi-Vis Rain Coat 100cm is a well-engineered garment designed for those who require maximum coverage and visibility in demanding outdoor environments. At a substantial 100cm in length, it provides significantly more protection than a standard jacket, ensuring the wearer remains dry even in persistent downpours. This coat is an essential piece of equipment for any professional working in inclement weather, combining safety compliance with functional design.
Key Features
- 100cm length provides extended protection against wind and rain, covering well below the waist.
- The stud and zip storm flap creates a secure double barrier to prevent water ingress through the front closure.
- A convenient pack-away hood offers versatility, allowing it to be stowed when not in use or deployed quickly during a storm.
- Vented back yoke and eyelets facilitate airflow, helping to regulate body temperature and reduce internal moisture buildup.
- Large front pockets offer ample storage space for essential tools and personal items, keeping them accessible yet protected.
Design & Performance
Crafted from a 100% polyester plain weave with a robust PVC coating, this coat is designed to withstand the rigours of daily work. The fabric is substantial and sturdy, providing a reliable shield against the elements. Inside, a lightweight polyester mesh lining in the yoke area improves comfort by preventing the outer shell from clinging to the body. Every detail, from the reinforced seams to the high-contrast orange finish, has been considered to ensure longevity and performance in the field.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This hi-vis coat is fully compatible with both print and embroidery, allowing you to maintain a professional corporate image while staying safe. Embroidery is particularly effective for company logos and staff names, providing a durable, high-quality finish that withstands the demands of manual work. For larger, more prominent branding across the back, our precision printing process ensures your designs remain bold and visible. Our in-house team in Telford has been perfecting customisation since 1976, ensuring your workwear is handled with technical expertise.
Use Cases
This garment is specifically designed for outdoor professionals in sectors such as construction, transport, and logistics. The high-visibility orange colour makes it particularly suitable for rail industry applications and any environment where maximum visual presence is a safety requirement during daytime and nighttime operations.

Practical Advice
Given its 100cm length and generous cut, this rain coat is ideal for layering over heavier workwear like sweatshirts or thermal base layers. We recommend checking your measurements carefully, particularly if you intend to wear the coat over a bulky fleece, to ensure you maintain full range of movement while working.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility performance and waterproof integrity of this garment, it is important to follow the specified care instructions. A domestic wash should be limited to 40°C using a mild process; higher temperatures risk damaging the PVC coating and reducing the effectiveness of the reflective elements.
Bleaching must be avoided at all costs, as it will degrade the polyester fibres and cause the high-visibility orange pigment to fade, compromising your safety. The coat should be drip line dried only. Never use a tumble dryer, as the intense heat can cause the waterproof membrane to warp or delaminate from the outer fabric.
Ironing is strictly prohibited, as direct heat will melt the synthetic materials and destroy the garment. Finally, do not dry clean. Please be aware that the reflective properties are rated for a maximum of 25 washes, after which the garment should be replaced to ensure you remain fully compliant with safety standards.
