Product Overview
The Tee Jays All Weather Parka (TJ096) is a sophisticated solution for the professional requiring reliable weather protection without sacrificing a refined aesthetic. Designed with a smooth, flawless surface, this parka is tailored for the modern business environment, moving beyond the bulky appearance of traditional outdoor gear. It utilizes a technical two-layer fabric that offers both waterproof capabilities and impressive flexibility, ensuring you remain dry and comfortable during your urban ventures or daily commute.
Key Features
- Waterproof with Taped Seams: This construction ensures that moisture is kept entirely at bay, providing essential protection during heavy rain.
- Four-Way Stretch Fabric: The inclusion of elastane allows the garment to move with the wearer, preventing the restrictive feel often associated with formal outerwear.
- DuPont Sorona Padding: This premium insulation provides significant warmth through a bio plant-based polymer, offering an environmentally conscious alternative to traditional fillings.
- Magnetic Button Closure: The hidden magnetic closure provides a clean, minimalist front while allowing for quick and effortless fastening.
- Two-Way SBS Zip: A high-quality front zip that offers flexibility in ventilation and ease of movement, particularly when seated.
Design & Performance
Performance is at the heart of the TJ096 design. The main fabric is composed of a durable blend of recycled polyester and elastane, creating a resilient outer shell that resists the elements while maintaining its shape. The interior is lined with a smooth 310T recycled polyester, ensuring it slides easily over suits or knitwear. The high collar and large front pockets—featuring a warm lining—are designed to protect the extremities against the wind and cold. The technical composition ensures that while the coat is substantial enough to provide warmth, it remains breathable enough for active use.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This parka has been specifically prepared for embroidery, making it an excellent choice for corporate branding. For a professional and sophisticated finish, we recommend embroidery for logos and staff names; the dense, smooth weave of the fabric provides a stable base for high-tension stitching. While the parka also accepts print for larger, bold designs, embroidery offers a level of texture and durability that perfectly aligns with the garment's high-end feel. Our in-house team in Telford, established in 1976, manages the entire process to ensure your branding meets our rigorous quality standards.
Use Cases
This garment is ideally suited for corporate management, urban commuters, and professionals attending outdoor events or site visits where a formal appearance must be maintained. It bridges the gap between technical outdoor apparel and high-street business fashion, making it a versatile addition to any professional wardrobe.

Practical Advice
The parka is available in sizes ranging from Small to 3XL. Given the streamlined fit of the 'All Weather' collection, we recommend reviewing the chest measurements to ensure there is sufficient room if you intend to layer this over a heavy blazer or thick jumper. The four-way stretch does provide some leeway, but for those between sizes, opting for the larger size is often the more comfortable choice for winter layering.
Caring for your product
To maintain the waterproof integrity and the performance of the stretch fabric, we recommend a machine wash at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Washing at higher temperatures can damage the taped seams and the internal padding structure.
It is essential to wash the parka separately and ensure the zipper is fully closed before placing it in the machine. Leaving the zip open can lead to mechanical damage to both the teeth of the zip and the surrounding technical fabric during the wash cycle.
Do not tumble dry or soak this garment. High heat from a dryer can degrade the elastane fibres and the bio-based padding, while prolonged soaking may weaken the adhesive used in the waterproof taping. Simply hang the garment to air dry naturally to preserve its shape and protective qualities.
