Product Overview

The PW3 Hi-Vis Winter Jacket is a sophisticated piece of outerwear designed for professionals who refuse to compromise on either safety or comfort during the colder months. Constructed from high-performance 300D Oxford fabric, this jacket is engineered to provide a robust barrier against the elements while maintaining a contemporary, modern fit that looks professional on any site. The integration of high-visibility orange with contrasting black panels ensures you remain conspicuous in low-light conditions without showing every speck of dirt from a day's work.

Key Features

  • 300D Oxford Polyester: A durable, stain-resistant fabric with a double PU coating that ensures the jacket remains clean and waterproof even in challenging environments.
  • Insulatex Heat Reflective Lining: This innovative panel reflects body heat back towards the wearer, providing exceptional warmth without adding unnecessary bulk to the garment.
  • Multiple Zipped Pockets: Provides secure and accessible storage for essential tools and personal items, keeping them protected from the weather.
  • Contemporary Modern Fit: Designed to offer a sleek silhouette that allows for ease of movement, ensuring the jacket does not hinder your performance on the job.

Design & Performance

The technical merit of the PW3 Winter Jacket lies in its layered construction. The outer shell is a heavy-duty polyester oxford weave, known for its exceptional abrasion resistance and longevity. By applying a double PU coating and a stain-resistant finish, the garment effectively repels water and grime, keeping the wearer dry and the jacket looking newer for longer. Inside, the inclusion of the Insulatex lining marks a significant step up from standard insulation. By utilizing heat-reflective technology, the jacket achieves a high thermal rating while remaining relatively lightweight and manageable.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This jacket is an excellent canvas for both print and embroidery, allowing you to align your team's appearance with your corporate identity. Embroidery is particularly recommended for company logos on the chest, providing a textured, premium finish that withstands the rigours of industrial use. For larger branding or safety messaging on the back, our high-quality print processes offer sharp, bold results that remain visible even at a distance. All customisation is carried out by our expert in-house team in Telford, drawing on over four decades of experience since our founding in 1976.

Use Cases

This jacket is ideally suited for outdoor tradespeople, construction site managers, and logistics personnel who operate in exposed environments during autumn and winter. Its high-visibility credentials make it essential for roadside assistance or rail work, while the insulated lining makes it a reliable choice for anyone working in sub-zero temperatures or unheated warehouses.

Practical Advice

Given the insulated nature of this jacket, we recommend considering the layers you intend to wear underneath. The modern fit is designed to be streamlined; however, if you plan on wearing a thick sweatshirt or multiple mid-layers, you may wish to verify your measurements against our sizing guide to ensure maximum mobility.

Caring for your product

To maintain the high-visibility properties and technical integrity of your jacket, it is essential to follow the care instructions precisely. A mild domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C is recommended. Exceeding this temperature can damage the PU coating and reduce the effectiveness of the stain-resistant finish.

Do not use bleach under any circumstances. Bleaching agents will degrade the fluorescent pigments in the fabric, significantly compromising the safety rating of the garment. Similarly, the jacket should not be tumble dried or ironed; high heat from these processes can melt the synthetic fibres and the heat-reflective lining, rendering the jacket less effective at retaining warmth.

We advise drip line drying to allow the garment to regain its shape naturally without heat stress. Please note that this garment has a maximum limit of 50 washes. Beyond this point, the reflective tapes and high-visibility fabric may no longer meet the required safety standards for visibility.
