Design & Performance
The core of this garment is the Kingsmill Polycotton Eco fabric, a medium-weight material that offers a robust shield against the rigours of the workplace. By blending 65% recycled polyester with 35% cotton, the trousers achieve a balance of breathability and abrasion resistance. The addition of contrast stretch panels, made from a recycled polyester and elastane blend, ensures that the garment moves with the wearer rather than against them.
Performance is further enhanced by the high-visibility orange and black colour scheme. This design ensures the wearer remains clearly visible in low-light environments, which is a fundamental safety requirement on modern construction and industrial sites. The build quality is substantial, reflecting a garment engineered for longevity rather than temporary use.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
For a professional corporate identity, we recommend embroidery for your company logo. This method provides a textured, high-quality finish that withstands industrial wear and frequent washing. For larger, more vibrant branding or safety messaging, our high-definition print service is an excellent alternative. Both processes are managed by our expert in-house team in Telford, ensuring your branding is applied with the precision that our 1976 heritage demands.
Use Cases
These trousers are ideal for professionals working in construction, road maintenance, and logistics where high-visibility clothing is a site requirement. The holster pockets make them particularly suitable for electricians, carpenters, and fitters who need to keep small tools and fasteners close at hand while maintaining mobility.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, consider that the side elastication provides some flexibility in the waist, which is particularly useful if you find yourself between standard sizes. For those working in colder environments, these trousers are designed with a fit that comfortably allows for thermal base layers without restricting the effectiveness of the 4-way stretch panels.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the integrity of your safety-rated garments is essential for long-term performance. We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Exceeding this temperature can damage the recycled polyester fibres and may cause the high-visibility pigments to fade prematurely.
Avoid the use of bleach or harsh chemical cleaners. These substances can break down the fabric structure and compromise the reflective properties that are vital for your safety on site.
To preserve the shape and fit of the trousers, do not tumble dry them. We advise drip line drying to prevent shrinkage and to ensure the elastane in the stretch panels retains its flexibility. Furthermore, these trousers should not be ironed, as direct heat can melt the synthetic components and damage the custom branding.
Please note that these trousers have a maximum wash cycle of 50 washes. Beyond this point, the high-visibility properties may no longer meet the required safety standards, and the garment should be replaced to ensure continued protection.
