Product Overview

The EAGLE FFP2 Valved Dolomite Fold Flat Respirator is a highly engineered solution for professionals requiring reliable respiratory protection without sacrificing comfort. Designed with a unique seven-part dynamic construction, this respirator allows for significant facial movement, ensuring the mask stays securely in place while the wearer speaks or moves. This pack of ten respirators provides essential filtration against medium-level dusts and particles, making it an indispensable part of a safety kit in various industrial and healthcare settings.

Key Features
  • Seven Dynamic Parts: This innovative design provides excellent facial movement, ensuring that the mask maintains a consistent seal even during rigorous physical activity.
  • Integrated Exhalation Valve: The valve significantly reduces heat and moisture build-up inside the mask, making it much more comfortable to wear for extended periods.
  • Inner Foam Padding: Added foam around the nose area increases comfort for the wearer and helps to ensure a tighter, more effective seal against the face.
  • Dolomite Clogging Test: This optional test ensures the respirator provides a lower breathing resistance for longer periods, even in environments with very high levels of dust.
  • Individual Polybags: Each mask is individually wrapped, keeping them hygienic until the moment of use and making them ideal for storage or vending machines.

Design & Performance

Constructed from high-quality polypropylene with soft PU foam components, the P291 is built for both durability and user comfort. Its lightweight fabric construction feels substantial without being cumbersome. The fold-flat design is not just a convenience for storage; it also protects the internal filter media from contamination when not in use. Meeting the EN 149:2001 +A1:2009 FFP2 standards, this respirator is designed to filter out a high percentage of airborne particles, providing peace of mind in challenging environments.

Why No Customisation?

This respirator is a critical piece of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and is sold without customisation. Applying embroidery or heat-applied prints to a respiratory mask would compromise the structural integrity of the filter material and the airtight seal required for safety. To ensure the product performs exactly to its certified safety standards, we provide it in its original, un-tampered state.

Use Cases

This FFP2 respirator is suitable for a wide range of professionals, including carpenters, plumbers, and construction workers facing dust and debris. It is also appropriate for healthcare environments, painters and decorators dealing with sanding residues, and welders requiring protection from certain fumes. Its compact, fold-flat nature makes it easy for tradespeople to keep a spare in a pocket or glove box.

Practical Advice

For a respirator to be effective, it must form a perfect seal against the face. We recommend that users are clean-shaven, as facial hair can prevent the mask from sealing correctly. Always perform a fit check by covering the mask with both hands and exhaling sharply; if air leaks around the edges, adjust the nose clip and head straps until a secure fit is achieved.

Caring for your product

To ensure maximum safety and hygiene, these respirators are designed for single-shift use and should be disposed of correctly after each use. Reusing a disposable respirator can lead to a decrease in filtration efficiency and the accumulation of bacteria on the inner surface.

Do not attempt to wash or clean this product with water or chemicals. Moisture and cleaning agents will damage the electrostatic properties of the filter material, rendering the mask ineffective against hazardous particles.

Store the masks in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and contaminants. Keeping them in their original individual polybags until they are needed will ensure they remain sterile and ready for use when you need them most.
