Product Overview
The PW3 Hi-Vis Women's Rain Trousers represent a significant step forward in functional workwear specifically engineered for the female professional. Unlike generic unisex alternatives, these trousers feature a modern fit tailored to the female form, which serves the dual purpose of increasing comfort and reducing the safety risks associated with tripping or snagging on site. Constructed from a robust 300D Oxford weave fabric, these trousers are designed to provide a formidable barrier against the elements while ensuring the wearer remains highly visible in low-light conditions.
Key Features
- 300D Oxford Weave Fabric: This high-density polyester provides exceptional durability and resistance to abrasions, ensuring the garment survives the rigours of daily site work.
- Double PU Coating: The application of two layers of Polyurethane ensures a waterproof seal, keeping you dry during sustained rainfall.
- Reinforced Knees: Additional material in high-stress areas prevents premature wear and tear, extending the lifespan of the garment for those frequently working at ground level.
- Extra-Long Side Leg Zippers: These allow the trousers to be easily pulled on or removed over work boots, saving time and effort during sudden weather changes.
- Multiple Secure Zipped Pockets: Provides safe storage for essential tools and personal items, preventing them from falling out during active movement.
- Elasticated Waistband: Ensures a secure and comfortable fit regardless of layering, allowing for a full range of movement without restriction.
Design & Performance
The technical performance of these trousers is centred around the 100% polyester 300D Oxford weave. This medium-weight fabric is treated with a stain-resistant finish, which is essential for maintaining the high-visibility properties of the orange and black colourway. The double PU coating provides a reliable waterproof barrier without making the garment overly cumbersome. The modern silhouette is not merely an aesthetic choice; by following the natural lines of the body, it eliminates excess fabric that could otherwise become a hazard in industrial environments.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
These rain trousers are suitable for both print and embroidery customisation, allowing you to align your safety gear with your corporate identity. For a sophisticated and permanent branding solution, embroidery is ideal for company logos or staff names, providing a durable finish that withstands regular laundering. Alternatively, heat-seal printing is a superb option for larger, bold designs that require high visibility. All customisation is performed by our expert in-house team in Telford, drawing on decades of experience to ensure your branding is applied with precision.
Use Cases
These trousers are an essential requirement for women working in construction, civil engineering, logistics, and any outdoor sector where high-visibility and weather protection are mandatory. They are particularly effective for site managers and surveyors who require a professional appearance without sacrificing practical protection against the British weather.

Practical Advice
These trousers are designed as an 'over-pant' fit. When selecting your size, consider the thickness of the trousers you intend to wear underneath. The side zippers are specifically designed to facilitate quick changes; we recommend keeping them fully zipped during work to maintain the integrity of the waterproof seal and prevent snagging.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the integrity of high-visibility rainwear is vital for both safety and longevity. We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum of 40°C using a very mild process. Using harsh detergents or high temperatures can degrade the PU coating and reduce the effectiveness of the stain-resistant finish.
Do not use bleach on this garment. Chlorine-based cleaners will permanently damage the fluorescent pigments and reflective elements, compromising your safety on site.
Avoid the use of a tumble dryer. These trousers should be drip line dried to prevent heat damage to the waterproof membrane and the 100% polyester fibres. Similarly, do not iron this garment, as the heat will melt the PU coating and the synthetic fabric.
Please note that this garment has a maximum limit of 50 washes. Beyond this point, the reflective properties may diminish below safety standards, and the garment should be replaced to ensure continued compliance with visibility regulations.
