Product Overview
The Regatta Professional X-Pro Beacon waterproof trousers are a sophisticated solution for professionals who require reliable weather protection without the bulk of traditional over-trousers. Engineered from high-performance Isotex 10000 stretch fabric, these trousers are designed to bridge the gap between technical outdoor apparel and practical workwear. Whether you are navigating a city commute or working in unpredictable outdoor environments, the combination of a waterproof barrier and a breathable membrane ensures you remain dry and comfortable throughout the day.
Safety and functionality are at the forefront of this design. The inclusion of reflective details enhances visibility in low-light conditions, while the recycled polyester construction speaks to a modern, conscious approach to garment manufacturing. Fully compliant with EN343:3.3 standards, these trousers provide certified protection against rain and wind while maintaining a professional, streamlined aesthetic.

Design & Performance
The performance of the X-Pro Beacon trousers is defined by the Isotex 10000 fabric. This is a lightweight fabric that offers a significant strength-to-weight ratio, ensuring durability while remaining agile. The added stretch within the weave is crucial for professionals who are constantly on the move, as it prevents the rigid feeling often associated with waterproof gear. The articulated knees are a thoughtful ergonomic addition, reducing strain on the seams and improving the overall lifespan of the garment.
Beyond the primary fabric, the reflective accents are strategically placed to offer subtle but effective visibility. The waterproof coating is also remarkably easy to maintain; spills and light mud can often be wiped clean, keeping you looking presentable between deeper washes. The availability of short, regular, and long leg lengths ensures a precise fit, which is vital for maintaining the integrity of the waterproof seal at the hem.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
At MyWorkwear, we understand that your clothing is a reflection of your brand. The smooth surface of the Isotex fabric makes these trousers suitable for both print and embroidery. For a professional, long-lasting finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos or staff names, which adds a high-quality, textured appearance to the garment.
If you require larger, more vibrant branding—perhaps for high-visibility identification—our heat-applied printing process is an excellent alternative. All customisation is managed in-house by our expert team in Telford, who have been perfecting garment decoration since 1976. We ensure that the application process respects the technical properties of the waterproof fabric to maintain its performance.
Use Cases
These trousers are exceptionally versatile. They are ideal for surveyors, site managers, and delivery professionals who need to maintain a professional appearance while being exposed to the elements. Their lightweight nature also makes them a popular choice for cycle commuters or those whose roles involve a mix of indoor and outdoor tasks.

Practical Advice
To achieve the best fit, we recommend measuring your waist and inside leg accurately, as these trousers are designed with a technical, articulated fit. Because they are a lightweight fabric, they can be worn comfortably over a base layer in colder months or as a standalone pair of trousers in milder, wet weather. If you are between sizes, the stretch fabric offers a degree of flexibility, but a correct fit will ensure the articulated knees sit in the intended position.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-performance waterproof membrane of your trousers, it is essential to follow the care instructions carefully. We recommend a cool machine wash using Regatta Isotex cleaner or a pure soap. Conventional detergents can contain chemicals that strip away the durable water-repellent (DWR) coating, which will eventually lead to the fabric 'wetting out' and feeling heavy.
Do not use bleach on this garment, as it will damage the polyester fibres and degrade the waterproof barrier. Tumble drying should be avoided at all costs; high heat can delaminate the waterproof membrane and melt the reflective details. Instead, allow the trousers to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources.
If ironing is required, use a cool setting only. A light, cool iron can actually help reactivate the DWR coating on the outer fabric. Finally, do not dry clean this product, as the solvents used in the process are too harsh for the technical Isotex fabric and will cause permanent damage to its protective properties.
