Product Overview

The PW3 Hi-Vis Lightweight Stretch Work Trousers are an expertly engineered solution for professionals who require a balance of safety, durability, and physical agility. Constructed from high-performing Titanmill Plus stretch fabric, these trousers provide a lightweight feel without sacrificing the resilience needed on a busy site. The design prioritises freedom of movement while ensuring the wearer remains clearly visible in hazardous environments.

Key Features

  • Two-way stretch fabric allows for a full range of motion, ensuring the garment moves with you rather than against you during strenuous activity.
  • Flexible HiVisTex Pro segmented reflective tape provides essential visibility while maintaining the garment's elasticity, preventing the stiff feeling associated with traditional reflective strips.
  • Top-loading kneepad pockets offer easily accessible protection, which is vital for tradespeople spending extended periods on their knees.
  • A multi-way thigh pocket provides secure, dedicated storage for modern essentials such as mobile phones, keys, and hand tools.
  • Reinforced Oxford fabric at key abrasion points ensures the trousers can withstand the friction and wear typical of heavy-duty work.
  • Triple stitching throughout the garment provides superior seam strength, significantly reducing the risk of tearing under pressure.

Design & Performance

These trousers are crafted from Titanmill Plus Stretch, a technical blend of 65% polyester, 33% cotton, and 2% elastane. This composition provides a breathable, comfortable fit that retains its shape even after long hours of wear. To address the demands of tough working conditions, the garment features 600D Oxford fabric in high-wear areas. This 100% polyester fabric is PU coated, providing exceptional tear resistance and a water-repellent finish that helps keep the garment clean and professional-looking for longer.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This item is perfectly suited for both print and embroidery, allowing you to maintain a professional brand image. Embroidery is recommended for company logos or staff names, providing a sophisticated, permanent finish that withstands regular laundering. For larger, more striking graphics, our high-quality print service ensures your branding is clear and bold. Our specialist in-house team in Telford, which has been operating since 1976, handles all customisation to ensure a superior result every time.

Use Cases

These trousers are designed for anyone working in sectors where high visibility is a safety requirement, including construction, logistics, and roadworks. Their lightweight, stretchy nature makes them particularly suitable for active roles where bending, climbing, or kneeling is a constant part of the day.

Why MyWorkwear

With a heritage dating back to 1976, MyWorkwear has decades of experience in providing technical clothing that works as hard as you do. Based in Telford, we combine local expertise with deep industry knowledge to deliver garments that meet the highest standards of safety and professional appearance.

Practical Advice

The stretch fabric in these trousers provides a more forgiving fit than traditional heavy work trousers. For those working outdoors in the winter, the lightweight fabric allows for comfortable layering over thermal base layers without restricting movement. We recommend using compatible kneepads to take full advantage of the top-loading pocket design.

Caring for your product

To maintain the integrity of the stretch fabric and the effectiveness of the reflective tape, we recommend a domestic wash at no more than 40°C. High temperatures can degrade the elastane and dull the high-visibility pigments.

Avoid the use of bleach, as this will compromise the fabric's strength and visibility. When drying, use a low-heat tumble setting or drip line dry. Excessive heat during drying can cause the PU coating on the reinforced panels to peel or crack.

Ironing should be restricted to a maximum temperature of 150°C to avoid damaging the polyester fibres. Do not dry clean these trousers, as the chemicals used in the process can strip the reflective properties of the tape. To remain compliant with safety standards, please note that this garment is rated for a maximum of 25 washes.
