Product Overview
The Classic Rain Trousers are a fundamental component of any professional's wet-weather wardrobe, belonging to the All Weather Protection range. Engineered for those who require reliable protection without the burden of heavy, restrictive clothing, these trousers are remarkably lightweight and easily packable. This makes them an ideal solution for unpredictable British weather, allowing you to store them in a vehicle or kit bag until required. The design prioritises practicality, featuring a roomy fit specifically intended to be worn comfortably over your primary work trousers.

Design & Performance
Constructed from 100% Polyester with a dedicated PVC coating, these trousers are built to repel water effectively. The fabric is a medium-weight material that balances durability with flexibility, ensuring the garment does not feel cumbersome during active shifts. The PVC coating acts as a resilient barrier against the elements, while the taped seams further reinforce the garment's integrity, preventing moisture from seeping through the stitch lines. This focus on performance ensures the trousers provide unbeatable value for money for those working in demanding environments.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
These trousers are suitable for both print and embroidery, allowing you to maintain a professional brand identity even in the worst weather. For a superior, long-lasting finish, embroidery is the preferred choice for company logos or individual names, offering a textured and professional appearance. Alternatively, printing is highly effective for larger, high-visibility branding that needs to stand out. All customisation is managed by our expert in-house team at our Telford facility, where we have been perfecting the art of workwear branding since 1976.
Use Cases
These trousers are designed for anyone working in outdoor sectors where rain protection is non-negotiable. They are particularly well-suited for construction site workers, logistics personnel, and maintenance teams who frequently transition between indoor and outdoor tasks. The packable nature also makes them a favourite for delivery drivers and agricultural workers who need quick-change protection.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, remember that these are designed as an over-garment. While the fit is already roomy to accommodate layering, if you typically wear heavy-duty cargo trousers or multiple layers during winter, you should ensure your chosen size provides enough clearance for comfortable movement. The stud adjustable hem should be fastened securely over your boots to ensure the best possible protection against rising damp and splashes.
Caring for your product
To maintain the technical performance and waterproof integrity of these trousers, proper care is essential. Following these guidelines will ensure the PVC coating remains effective and your custom branding stays vibrant.
We recommend a mild process wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Using a gentle cycle prevents excessive mechanical stress on the waterproof coating and ensures the polyester fibres do not degrade prematurely.
Do not use bleach on this garment. Chlorine and other harsh bleaching agents will chemically attack the PVC coating and the polyester base, leading to a loss of waterproofing and potentially damaging your embroidered or printed logos.
Do not tumble dry. The high heat levels found in domestic and industrial dryers can cause the PVC coating to soften, crack, or peel away from the polyester backing. Instead, we advise drip line drying, which allows the garment to dry naturally and retain its shape.
Do not iron these trousers. The application of direct heat from an iron will melt the PVC coating and the polyester fabric, causing irreparable damage to the garment. Similarly, do not dry clean, as the solvents used in that process can strip the protective finish from the material.
