Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This garment is exceptionally well-suited for both print and embroidery, allowing you to align your team's appearance with your brand identity. For a superior, long-lasting finish, embroidery is the preferred choice for company logos and staff names, providing a texture and depth that withstands repeated laundering. If you require larger, high-impact designs or safety messaging on the back of the vest, our high-precision printing offers a bold and clear result. Our specialist in-house team in Telford has been refining these customisation techniques since 1976, ensuring your branding is applied with absolute expertise.
Key Features
- EN ISO 20471 Class 1 Certification: Provides essential visibility, ensuring you are seen in lower-risk environments where safety remains a priority.
- HiVisTex Pro Segmented Tape: This heat-applied reflective tape is segmented to allow for superior flexibility and breathability, ensuring the garment moves with you rather than against you.
- Kingsmill Twill Fabric: A highly durable material that provides the structural integrity needed to support a full load of tools without sagging or tearing.
- Titanmill Plus Fabric: A medium-weight poly-cotton blend that balances the hard-wearing nature of polyester with the natural comfort of cotton.
Design & Performance
The performance of this vest is rooted in its material composition. Constructed from Titanmill Plus—comprising 65% polyester and 35% cotton—the fabric is designed to be tough yet comfortable. The polyester content provides excellent colour retention and resistance to abrasion, while the cotton ensures the vest remains breathable throughout the day. The inclusion of the HiVisTex Pro tape is a significant design choice; because it is heat-applied rather than stitched, there are no uncomfortable internal seams to cause irritation during active movement.
Use Cases
This tool vest is essential equipment for tradespeople who need their primary tools within arm's reach at all times. It is particularly favoured by electricians, plumbers, and mechanics who work in environments where visibility is necessary but a full Class 2 or 3 garment might be cumbersome. It is also an ideal choice for tree surgeons and security personnel who require the storage capacity of a vest with the added benefit of high-visibility safety standards.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, consider the layers you intend to wear beneath the vest. If you frequently work in colder conditions and wear a heavy sweatshirt or fleece, you may find a slightly larger size offers a more comfortable fit. Additionally, be mindful of how you distribute tools within the pockets to ensure the vest remains balanced and comfortable over long periods of wear.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility performance and the longevity of the fabric, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C. Washing at higher temperatures may degrade the adhesive on the reflective tape and cause the fabric to age prematurely.
Do not use bleach when cleaning this vest. Bleaching agents will destroy the fluorescent pigments required for high-visibility certification and will weaken the fibres of the Titanmill fabric, significantly reducing the garment's lifespan.
This product should be drip-line dried only. We strongly advise against tumble drying, as the intense heat can cause the reflective tape to peel and may result in unwanted fabric shrinkage.
If ironing is necessary, use a maximum temperature of 150°C and avoid direct contact with the reflective tape. Excessive heat from an iron will melt the segmented tape, rendering the safety features ineffective. Finally, please note the garment is rated for a maximum of 50 washes; beyond this, the reflective properties may fall below the required safety standards.
