Product Overview
The P211 Moulded FFP2 Valved Respirator is an essential piece of personal protective equipment designed for those who require reliable respiratory safety without compromising on comfort. This pack of ten masks provides a high level of protection against mid-level dust, solid and liquid aerosols. The ergonomic, metal-free design ensures a close, secure fit for a variety of face shapes, while the valved construction addresses the common issue of heat build-up during physical exertion.
Key Features
- High-Performing Exhalation Valve: This feature efficiently reduces heat and moisture inside the mask, which is particularly beneficial for those wearing safety glasses as it helps prevent fogging.
- Dolomite Clogging Tested: Having passed the optional Dolomite test, this respirator offers maximised breathing comfort and a longer service life in extremely dusty environments.
- Soft Nose Foam: The integrated foam provides a superior seal around the nasal bridge, preventing unfiltered air from entering and increasing overall wearer comfort.
- Metal-Free Construction: The absence of metal components makes these masks suitable for use in industries with sensitive metal-detection equipment, such as food processing.
- Drop-Down Head Strap: This design allows for easy removal and ensures the mask can hang conveniently around the neck when not in active use.
Design & Performance
The P211 is constructed from a sophisticated blend of materials, including a Polyester outer layer and a high-efficiency Meltblown Polypropylene (MBPP) filtration core. This combination ensures the mask maintains its shape while providing the necessary electrostatic barrier against particulates. Certified to EN 149:2001 +A1:2009 FFP2 (NR D), it is engineered to filter out at least 94% of airborne particles.
Performance is further enhanced by the moulded shape, which creates a larger internal surface area. This reduces the breathing resistance compared to flatter alternatives, making it a more comfortable choice for extended shifts in demanding workplace conditions.
Why No Customisation?
We do not offer customisation, such as printing or embroidery, on this product to ensure your safety remains uncompromised. Any modification to the surface of a respirator would puncture the filtration layers or block the pores of the fabric, effectively rendering the FFP2 protection useless and voiding its safety certification. When it comes to respiratory PPE, the integrity of the material is paramount.
Use Cases
This respirator is versatile and suited for a wide range of professional applications. It is particularly recommended for carpenters and construction workers dealing with wood dust, painters working with sanding residues, and plumbers. Its metal-free design also makes it an excellent choice for veterinary and dental professionals, as well as those involved in chemical handling or industrial cleaning where airborne particulates are a concern.

Practical Advice
To ensure the FFP2 rating is effective, the mask must form an airtight seal against your skin. We recommend that wearers are clean-shaven, as facial hair can prevent the mask from sealing correctly, allowing contaminated air to bypass the filter. Before each use, check the elastic straps for any signs of wear and ensure the exhalation valve is clear of obstructions.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the hygiene and integrity of your respiratory protection is vital. These respirators are classified as 'NR' (Non-Reusable) and should be disposed of at the end of a single shift, or sooner if they become damaged, damp, or if breathing resistance increases significantly.
Never attempt to wash or clean these masks. The filtration technology relies on electrostatic charges within the polypropylene layers; water or cleaning agents will dissipate this charge, leaving you unprotected against fine dust and aerosols. Store the unused masks in their original packaging, in a cool, dry environment, to ensure the materials do not degrade before use.
