Product Overview
The KX3 Sport 3-in-1 Jacket is a sophisticated multi-way solution designed for professionals who require versatility and protection in the unpredictable British climate. As part of the contemporary KX3 range, this jacket offers a highly practical layering system, combining a robust waterproof outer shell with a zip-out microfleece inner. This design allows you to adapt your clothing throughout the working day, providing a heavy-duty winter barrier when combined, or a lightweight shell for rainy spring conditions.
Key Features
- Three-in-one adaptability: The removable fleece can be worn as a standalone layer in mild weather or zipped into the shell for maximum thermal retention.
- High-level waterproofing: Equipped with a clear TPU membrane, this jacket is engineered to keep you dry during heavy rainfall, meeting EN 343 Class 3:1 standards.
- Functional storage: The inclusion of multiple pockets throughout the garment ensures that essential tools and personal items are always secure and accessible.
- Integrated safety: Subtle reflective strips are positioned on the front pockets to enhance visibility in low-light environments without compromising the professional aesthetic.
- Adjustable hood: Provides a tailored fit to protect against the elements, ensuring wind and rain are kept at bay.
Design & Performance
The outer shell is manufactured from 100% Polyamide 290T plain weave, which is both durable and resilient. This is paired with a TPU membrane that provides a substantial barrier against water ingress while maintaining a breathable environment. Inside, the body features a mesh lining to aid airflow, while the sleeves are finished with a smooth taffeta lining to ensure the jacket is easy to don and doff, even over other workwear.
The removable inner is constructed from a substantial microfleece. This medium-weight material is designed to trap warm air close to the body, providing excellent insulation without the bulk of a traditional winter coat. The sport-inspired fit ensures that the garment moves with the wearer, making it ideal for active roles.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This jacket is an excellent canvas for both print and embroidery, allowing you to present a professional company image. Embroidery is highly recommended for chest logos or staff names, offering a high-quality, long-lasting finish that withstands the rigours of outdoor work. For larger, bold branding on the back of the jacket, our printing services provide high visibility and clarity.
Our expert team in Telford has been handling workwear customisation since 1976, ensuring that every logo is applied with the precision and care your brand deserves. Whether you require a single embroidered logo or a full-colour print, we manage the entire process in-house to maintain our high standards.
Use Cases
This jacket is designed for site managers, supervisors, and tradespeople who transition between office-based planning and active site work. Its modern, sport-led design also makes it a popular choice for those in logistics and delivery sectors where a smart, professional appearance must be balanced with practical weather protection.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, consider the layers you intend to wear beneath the jacket. If you frequently wear heavy sweatshirts, you may find the tailored fit of the KX3 range requires a more generous size. We also recommend adjusting the hood toggles in windy conditions to ensure your peripheral vision remains unobstructed during site walks.
Caring for your product
To maintain the technical performance of the waterproof membrane and the appearance of your branding, we recommend a mild wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Exceeding this temperature can damage the TPU membrane and affect the water-repellent properties of the outer fabric.
You must avoid using bleach, as these chemicals will degrade the synthetic fibres and lead to premature fading of the black fabric. Dry cleaning should also be avoided, as the harsh solvents can dissolve the technical coatings that provide the jacket's waterproof rating.
For best results, this garment should be dried flat. Do not tumble dry, as high heat can cause the waterproof layers to delaminate and will flatten the insulating pile of the microfleece. Finally, do not iron this jacket; the heat will melt the Polyamide shell and ruin the waterproof seals.
