Product Overview

The Nimbus Independence jacket marks a significant milestone, celebrating twenty-five years since the design that defined the brand's identity. This unisex classic coach jacket captures the essence of nineties sportswear, blending vintage streetwear aesthetics with modern technical functionality. It is a lightweight, versatile outer layer designed for professionals who require a sophisticated yet fashionable appearance in corporate or casual environments.

Key Features
  • Lightweight construction: Ensures ease of movement and comfort throughout the working day without the bulk of traditional heavy outerwear.
  • Water-repellent finish: Provides an essential layer of protection against light rain, keeping the wearer dry during transitional weather conditions.
  • Polyester mesh lining: Enhances breathability by allowing air to circulate, preventing the build-up of moisture inside the garment during active use.
  • Two side pockets: Offer practical storage for essential items or a place to keep hands warm in cooler conditions.

Design & Performance

The Independence jacket is crafted from 100% polyester, offering a durable and resilient outer shell that maintains its shape and integrity even after frequent use. The lightweight fabric makes it an ideal choice for layering over shirts or sweatshirts. Its classic coach jacket silhouette provides a structured yet relaxed fit, suitable for a wide range of body types. The inclusion of a mesh lining is a thoughtful technical detail, ensuring that the jacket remains comfortable by managing internal temperature effectively while maintaining a sleek, professional profile.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This garment is exceptionally well-suited for both print and embroidery, allowing for high-quality branding tailored to your specific business requirements. Embroidery is the superior choice for a professional and sophisticated finish, ideal for company logos or individual names on the chest. For larger, more impactful designs—such as event graphics or bold company branding across the back—our precision printing techniques ensure a sharp, durable result. All customisation is handled in-house by our expert team in Telford, drawing on our heritage established in 1976 to ensure your brand is represented with absolute precision.

Use Cases

The Nimbus Independence is perfectly suited for corporate events, modern retail environments, or as a stylish uniform for creative teams. Its lightweight nature makes it an excellent choice for staff who frequently move between indoor and outdoor environments. It also serves as a premium promotional item for brands looking to align themselves with high-end, fashionable workwear that prioritises both form and function.

Practical Advice

Given its lightweight design, this jacket is best utilised as a protective outer shell. For colder environments, we recommend layering it over a medium-weight sweatshirt or fleece to maintain thermal comfort. The unisex fit is designed to be versatile; however, we suggest reviewing the size range from XS to 2XL to ensure the most professional fit for every member of your team.

Caring for your product

Maintaining the performance of your water-repellent jacket is essential for ensuring long-term durability and the preservation of your custom branding. To protect the polyester fibres and the integrity of your logos, it is vital to adhere to the specific laundering instructions provided on the garment tag.

Failure to follow the recommended care procedures can result in the degradation of the water-repellent finish, reducing the jacket's effectiveness in inclement weather. Furthermore, improper washing or drying can damage both the fabric and the custom embroidery or print, potentially leading to distortion or fading that compromises your professional appearance.
