Caring for your product
Maintaining the cleanliness of this garment is essential for its safety performance. Dirt and grime can obscure the high-visibility fabric and reflective tapes, significantly reducing its effectiveness in low-light conditions and potentially compromising your safety on site.
We recommend a domestic wash at 40°C to remove stubborn site dirt while preserving the integrity of the waterproof coating and the brilliance of the fluorescent fabric. Frequent cleaning ensures the safety tapes remain bright and effective for the life of the garment.
Do not use bleach, as this chemical will damage the reflective tapes and degrade the high-visibility pigments in the polyester outer. Similarly, professional dry cleaning is not recommended, as the harsh chemicals used can strip the fabric of its waterproof and windproof qualities.
Do not iron or tumble dry this jacket. High heat can melt the PU coating and damage the quilted insulation, leading to a loss of both protection and warmth. We recommend drip line drying to ensure the garment retains its shape and technical properties over time.
