Practical Advice
As this is a 4XL garment with a generous fit, it is designed to serve as a protective outer shell. We recommend layering it over a moisture-wicking base layer or a medium-weight fleece to provide warmth while the coat handles the external water. To ensure maximum ventilation during active shifts, ensure the back vent is not obscured by a rucksack or harness.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-performance waterproof coating and the quality of your custom branding, we recommend a mild domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Washing at higher temperatures can cause the PVC coating to degrade, which will eventually lead to water ingress through the fabric.
The use of bleach must be strictly avoided as it will damage the synthetic fibres and cause the navy colour to fade prematurely. This garment is not suitable for tumble drying; it should be hung to drip dry naturally. Applying heat via a tumble dryer or an iron will cause the synthetic material to melt or the waterproof coating to peel away from the polyester.
We advise against dry cleaning this garment. The harsh chemicals used in the dry cleaning process will strip the protective PVC layer, rendering the coat ineffective against rain and significantly shortening its service life.
