Product Overview
The Bizflame Work+ FR Trousers are a meticulously engineered solution for professionals operating in environments where flame resistance and chemical protection are non-negotiable requirements. Fully certified to EN13034, these trousers offer a robust barrier against liquid chemicals, while the inherent flame-resistant properties provide essential safety in high-risk zones. The design balances technical safety standards with daily wearability, ensuring you remain protected without sacrificing mobility.
Key Features
- Certified protection against liquid chemicals (EN13034), ensuring safety during the handling of hazardous substances.
- Metal-free construction with a secure stud and zip closure, making them suitable for environments where non-conductive apparel is mandatory.
- High-performance Bizflame Work+ fabric, providing a reliable shield against heat and flames.
- Substantial cotton-rich composition, which promotes breathability and comfort throughout long shifts.
Design & Performance
Constructed from a superior blend of 99% cotton and 1% carbon fibre, the Bizflame Work+ fabric is designed for both durability and comfort. The high cotton content ensures the garment is breathable and soft against the skin, while the integrated carbon fibre provides essential static dissipation. This combination is further enhanced with a specialised chemical finish, resulting in a substantial, sturdy fabric that stands up to the rigours of industrial work. The metal-free front closure is a thoughtful design choice, catering to sites with strict safety protocols regarding conductivity and sparking.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The Bizflame Work+ FR Trousers are well-suited for both print and embroidery, allowing you to maintain a professional corporate identity without compromising the garment's protective qualities. Embroidery is the preferred choice for detailed company logos or staff names, offering a durable and professional appearance that withstands regular industrial laundering. For larger, high-impact designs, our precision printing methods provide a bold finish. All customisation is performed by our expert team in Telford, drawing on nearly five decades of experience to ensure your branding is applied with technical precision.
Use Cases
These trousers are an essential choice for workers in chemical processing plants, oil and gas refineries, and any industrial setting where exposure to heat or liquid chemicals is a potential hazard. They are designed to be paired with the FR609 jacket to provide a complete and cohesive safety uniform.

Practical Advice
For maximum protection, ensure these trousers are worn as part of a complete flame-resistant system. We recommend layering with compatible FR base layers and pairing with the FR609 top for a unified safety standard across the entire body.
Caring for your product
To maintain the integrity of the flame-resistant and chemical-resistant treatments, it is vital to follow the care instructions precisely. Proper maintenance ensures the garment continues to provide the certified protection your environment demands.
We recommend a machine wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C using a normal process. This temperature is effective for removing industrial oils and contaminants while preserving the fabric’s protective finish. Avoid the use of bleach, as chlorine-based cleaners will degrade the flame-resistant properties and weaken the cotton fibres.
When drying, use a low-heat tumble dryer setting. Excessive heat during the drying cycle can lead to shrinkage and may damage the specialised chemical finish. If ironing is required, do not exceed 150°C; this heat level is sufficient to remove creases and help reactivate the chemical finish without scorching the fabric.
Do not dry clean this garment. The solvents used in dry cleaning processes can interfere with the chemical finish and potentially compromise the safety certifications of the trousers.
