Product Overview
The Bizflame Rain+ Hi-Vis Multi-Norm Contrast FR Jacket is an engineered piece of technical workwear designed for those working in high-risk environments. This is not a standard high-visibility coat; it is a sophisticated protective garment independently certified to seven international standards. It offers a comprehensive solution for professionals who require simultaneous protection from heat, flame, chemicals, and inclement weather, while maintaining the highest levels of visibility on site.
Key Features
- Multi-Norm Protection: Certified to protect against fire, chemicals, and static, ensuring you remain safe in complex industrial environments.
- High ARC Rating: Provides essential protection against electrical arc flashes, a critical requirement for utility and electrical workers.
- Waterproof and Breathable: The PTFE laminate and PU coating prevent water ingress while allowing moisture to escape, keeping you dry from both rain and perspiration.
- 100% Cotton Flame Resistant Lining: Adds a layer of thermal protection while ensuring the jacket remains comfortable against the body during long shifts.
- Contrast Design: The Yellow and Navy colourway is designed to maintain high visibility while hiding dirt in high-contact areas, keeping you looking professional for longer.
Design & Performance
The performance of this jacket is rooted in its specialized fabric composition. The shell is constructed from Bizflame Rain+ HV, a substantial blend of 80% cotton for comfort, 19% polyester for durability, and 1% carbon fibre to provide permanent anti-static properties. This is a substantial, sturdy garment designed to withstand the rigours of industrial use without compromising on the wearer's range of movement.
The addition of a PTFE laminate and PU coating makes the outer shell exceptionally resilient against rain and chemical splashes. Inside, the medium-weight cotton lining ensures the garment feels natural to wear, avoiding the stiff, plastic feel often associated with lower-quality waterproof jackets. Every component, from the fabric to the stitching, is chosen to ensure the garment maintains its protective integrity under pressure.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This jacket is well-suited for both print and embroidery, allowing you to align your safety gear with your corporate identity. For a professional and long-lasting finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos and individual names. The dense weave of the Bizflame fabric provides an excellent foundation for high-quality stitching.
If you require larger, more vibrant branding, our heat-applied printing process is an effective alternative. All customisation is handled by our expert in-house team at our Telford facility. Having been in the business since 1976, we understand how to apply branding without compromising the technical properties or safety certifications of your workwear.
Use Cases
This jacket is specifically designed for professionals in the petrochemical, utility, and rail industries where multi-hazard protection is a legal and safety requirement. It is equally suitable for construction workers operating in environments where flame resistance and high visibility are paramount, especially during the darker, wetter months.

Practical Advice
This jacket is a regular fit, designed to be worn over standard work attire. If you intend to wear several heavy layers underneath during winter, you may wish to consider the available space to ensure full mobility. The contrast navy panels are strategically placed at the hem and cuffs to mask the grease and grime common in industrial settings.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-performance standards of this garment, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures can damage the PTFE laminate and reduce the effectiveness of the flame-resistant properties over time.
Do not use bleach, as this will degrade the technical fibres and compromise the high-visibility colour. The jacket should be drip line dried only; tumble drying may cause shrinkage and damage the protective coatings. Furthermore, do not iron or dry clean this garment, as the heat and chemicals involved can permanently damage the flame-resistant and waterproof barriers, rendering the jacket unsafe for use in hazardous zones.
