Product Overview

The WX2 Eco Hi-Vis Work Jacket represents a significant step forward in sustainable safety apparel. Designed for the modern professional who requires both visibility and physical freedom, this jacket balances durability with environmental responsibility. Constructed from GRS certified recycled polyester and cotton, it provides a smart, professional aesthetic while meeting the demands of rigorous working environments.

Key Features

  • Kingsmill Polycotton Eco Fabric: Utilises recycled materials to reduce environmental impact without compromising the jacket's structural integrity or longevity.
  • Stretch Panelling: Strategically placed polyester stretch panels allow for a full range of movement, preventing the restrictive feel often associated with traditional work jackets.
  • High Visibility Orange and Black: Ensures you remain clearly visible in low-light conditions or busy sites, which is vital for maintaining workplace safety.
  • GRS Certified Construction: Provides verified assurance that the recycled components meet strict environmental and social standards.

Design & Performance

This medium-weight jacket is engineered for resilience. The main body uses a blend of recycled polyester and cotton, providing a sturdy surface that withstands daily wear and tear. What sets the WX2 apart is the integration of stretch fabric in key areas. By using a blend of polyester and elastane for these panels, the garment adapts to your body's movements, making tasks like reaching or bending far more comfortable. The combination of these materials ensures the jacket remains breathable yet substantial enough to offer protection in varied climates.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The WX2 Eco Hi-Vis Work Jacket is an excellent canvas for your corporate identity. For a truly professional appearance, we recommend embroidery. It is ideal for company logos and individual names, providing a durable finish that stands up to repeated washing. If you require larger, more striking graphics for maximum visibility, our high-quality printing services are the perfect choice. All customisation is performed by our expert in-house team at our Telford facility, drawing on nearly five decades of experience since our establishment in 1976.

Use Cases

This jacket is particularly well-suited for professionals in construction, civil engineering, and logistics where high visibility is non-negotiable. Its smart design also makes it appropriate for site managers or supervisors who need to transition between office environments and active sites while maintaining a professional appearance and staying safe.

Why MyWorkwear

Since 1976, MyWorkwear has been a trusted partner for businesses across the UK. Operating from our specialised base in Telford, we combine decades of technical knowledge with modern production techniques. We understand that your workwear is more than just clothing; it is a tool for safety and a representation of your brand's standards.

Practical Advice

This jacket features a regular fit, designed to be worn over standard work shirts or thin base layers. If you intend to wear heavy fleeces or jumpers underneath during the colder months, you may wish to consider selecting one size larger to ensure continued ease of movement. The stretch panels will accommodate some layering, but maintaining a correct fit is essential for both comfort and safety.

Caring for your product

To ensure the continued performance of the high-visibility elements and the longevity of the fabric, we recommend a mild wash process at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Exceeding this temperature can degrade the specialised fibres and the reflective properties of the garment.

It is important to avoid the use of bleach, as harsh chemicals will damage the fabric’s colour and structural strength. For drying, the jacket should be drip line dried only; using a tumble dryer can cause shrinkage and damage the stretch panelling. If ironing is necessary, use a maximum temperature of 150°C to avoid melting the synthetic components.

Finally, please note that the garment is rated for a maximum of 50 washes. Beyond this point, the high-visibility performance may no longer meet the required safety standards, and replacement should be considered to maintain optimal protection.
