Nimbus Women’s Whitestone – performance shell jacket

Product Overview

The Nimbus Womens Whitestone performance shell jacket is a sophisticated piece of technical outerwear, engineered to provide comprehensive protection against the elements while maintaining a refined, professional silhouette. Designed with a focus on versatility, this jacket features a zip-in function that allows for the integration of the Kendrick style inner jacket, effectively transforming a lightweight shell into a substantial winter garment. It is an ideal choice for professionals who require a garment that can adapt to changing weather conditions without sacrificing style.

Key Features

• Advanced windproof and waterproof construction ensures you remain dry and comfortable during prolonged exposure to adverse weather.
• Breathable fabric technology allows moisture vapour to escape, preventing overheating during active use.
• The detachable and adjustable hood provides customisable coverage and maintains peripheral vision when needed.
• Taped seams offer an extra layer of security, preventing water ingress at the most vulnerable points of the garment.
• Constructed using recycled fabrics, including materials sourced from plastic bottles and textile waste, supporting sustainable procurement goals.

Design & Performance

The Whitestone jacket is crafted from a high-quality recycled polyester outer fabric, enhanced with a PU coating for superior weather resistance. The inclusion of a Bionic Finish ECO water-repellent treatment ensures that moisture beads off the surface effectively, maintaining the garment's lightweight feel even in heavy rain. This technical shell is designed to be durable enough for daily professional use, while the interior lining provides a smooth interface for layering over corporate attire or thermal mid-layers.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This performance shell is perfectly suited for both print and embroidery, allowing you to align your team's appearance with your brand identity. For a traditional and durable finish, we recommend embroidery for chest logos or staff names; it provides a textured, high-quality appearance that withstands regular laundering. Alternatively, for larger, more vibrant branding across the back, our precision printing techniques are ideal. Every customisation is managed by our expert in-house team in Telford, drawing on decades of experience to ensure a superior finish.

Use Cases

Given its technical specifications and elegant cut, this jacket is exceptionally well-suited for corporate site visits, outdoor event management, and daily commuting. It provides the necessary protection for field-based roles while remaining smart enough for client-facing environments. Its modular nature also makes it a practical choice for businesses operating across multiple seasons.

Practical Advice

The Whitestone jacket is designed with a feminine fit, available in sizes ranging from XS to 3XL. To maximise the utility of the garment, we recommend utilising the zip-in function with a compatible Nimbus mid-layer for colder environments. When selecting your size, consider the layers you intend to wear underneath to ensure full range of motion.

Caring for your product

To preserve the technical performance and the integrity of the waterproof coating, it is vital to follow the care instructions provided on the internal label. Regular maintenance helps to ensure the breathable membrane remains clear of debris and continues to function effectively.

When laundering, avoid the use of biological detergents or fabric softeners, as these can degrade the water-repellent finish and the PU coating over time. Ensure the jacket is fully dry before storage to prevent any compromise to the recycled polyester fibres.
