Product Overview

The Bizflame Industry Two Tone FR Jacket is a substantial piece of protective equipment specifically engineered for professionals operating in high-risk environments, including off-shore platforms and industrial sites. This jacket strikes a deliberate balance between functional performance and a professional aesthetic, ensuring safety does not come at the expense of appearance. The specialized blend of materials ensures that the garment can withstand the physical demands of hazardous conditions while providing the wearer with necessary protection against specific industrial risks.

Key Features

  • The fabric is a sophisticated blend of cotton, polyester, and carbon fibre, which provides a high level of durability and resistance to the rigours of heavy industrial use.
  • Integrated carbon fibre provides permanent antistatic properties, which is a critical safety requirement for those working in environments where static discharge could lead to catastrophic events.
  • The two-tone grey design offers a modern and professional appearance, helping your team stand out for the right reasons while maintaining a uniform look.
  • Designed specifically for hazardous conditions, the garment's construction focuses on longevity, meaning it will remain an essential part of your safety equipment for longer.

Design & Performance

Constructed from a substantial-weight fabric, this jacket is built to endure the abrasive nature of site work. The 80% cotton content ensures the garment remains breathable and comfortable during extended shifts, which is vital for maintaining focus in high-pressure environments. The inclusion of 19% polyester enhances the structural integrity of the jacket, providing better resistance to tearing and abrasion than pure cotton garments. The final 1% of carbon fibre is woven into the fabric to provide reliable antistatic protection that does not wash out over time.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This jacket is well-suited for both print and embroidery, allowing for versatile branding options that reflect your company's professional standards. For a superior finish, we recommend embroidery for logos and names; the substantial nature of the Bizflame fabric provides an excellent foundation for high-density stitching. For larger, more prominent branding, our precision printing service offers a clear and bold alternative. All customisation is handled in-house at our Telford facility by a team that has been perfecting the craft since 1976.

Use Cases

This jacket is an essential choice for electrical engineers, offshore technicians, and personnel working in industrial sectors where flame resistance and antistatic properties are mandatory. It is designed to be worn in any environment where multi-norm protection is required to ensure worker safety against heat and static hazards.

Practical Advice

Due to the sturdy and substantial nature of the fabric, we recommend selecting your regular size for a fit that allows for natural movement. The jacket is designed with enough room to accommodate layering, such as a flame-resistant base layer or polo shirt, without becoming restrictive during physical tasks.

Caring for your product

Maintaining the protective performance of your flame-resistant jacket requires strict adherence to laundering protocols to ensure the integrity of the fibres remains intact. We recommend a normal process wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C. Exceeding this temperature can damage the specialised fibres and potentially degrade the garment's protective qualities.

Do not use bleach when cleaning this jacket. Bleaching agents will chemically react with the fabric, stripping away the flame-resistant properties and significantly weakening the material, rendering it unsafe for hazardous environments.

When drying the garment, use a low heat setting on your tumble dryer. Excessive heat during the drying process can cause shrinkage and may adversely affect the longevity of any custom embroidery or print applied to the jacket.

If ironing is required, ensure the iron temperature does not exceed 150°C. This prevents thermal damage to the synthetic components of the fabric blend while maintaining a sharp, professional appearance.

Dry cleaning should be avoided entirely. The chemicals used in dry cleaning processes can leave residues on the fabric that might interfere with the flame-resistant performance or cause a negative reaction with the carbon fibres.
