The WX2 Eco Stretch Work Jacket is a refined solution for the modern professional who requires a balance of environmental responsibility and high-performance functionality. Constructed from a sophisticated blend of GRS certified recycled polyester and cotton, this jacket provides a smart appearance while maintaining the rugged durability necessary for demanding work environments. Key Features
- Innovative Stretch Panelling: Strategically placed panels allow for an increased range of motion, which is essential for tasks requiring reaching or bending.
- GRS Certified Recycled Fabric: By utilising recycled polyester and cotton, this jacket supports your company's sustainability goals without sacrificing garment longevity.
- Durable Kingsmill Fabric: The main body is crafted from a robust polycotton blend designed to withstand the daily rigours of trade environments.
- Functional Design: The jacket's construction prioritises a smart aesthetic, making it suitable for both on-site work and client-facing meetings.
Design & Performance
The performance of the WX2 Eco Stretch Work Jacket lies in its technical fabric composition. The primary Kingsmill Polycotton Eco fabric consists of 65% recycled polyester and 35% cotton, resulting in a medium-weight garment that is both breathable and hard-wearing. The contrast panels are engineered with 7% elastane, providing the necessary flexibility to prevent fabric strain during physical exertion. This combination ensures the jacket retains its shape and professional finish even after prolonged use in active roles.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
To ensure your team presents a cohesive and professional image, this jacket is designed to accommodate both print and embroidery customisation. Embroidery is the preferred choice for company logos and staff names, offering a textured, high-quality finish that withstands industrial laundering. For larger, high-impact branding across the back, our precision printing techniques provide a bold and clear result.
All customisation is managed in-house at our Telford facility. With MyWorkwear's expertise dating back to 1976, you can be certain that your branding will be applied with technical precision to maintain the integrity of the recycled fabrics.
Use Cases
This jacket is ideally suited for professionals in the construction, engineering, and logistics sectors who require a durable outer layer that does not impede movement. Its smart appearance also makes it an excellent choice for facility management teams and supervisors who transition between active site work and office environments.

Practical Advice
For optimal comfort, this jacket is best layered over a moisture-wicking polo shirt or a standard t-shirt. The regular fit allows for sufficient movement without being overly bulky, making it a versatile choice for year-round use in indoor or sheltered outdoor environments. When selecting sizes, consider the base layers your team will typically wear underneath to ensure a professional silhouette.
Caring for your product
To maintain the structural integrity and the recycled fibres of the WX2 jacket, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C. This temperature is sufficient to remove the oils and grime often encountered in trade work while ensuring the fabric remains stable and the colours stay vibrant.
It is essential to avoid the use of bleach, as harsh chemicals will degrade the recycled polyester and cotton fibres, leading to premature wear and a loss of garment strength.
This jacket should not be tumble dried. Allowing the garment to air dry naturally prevents the elastane in the stretch panels from becoming brittle, which ensures the jacket continues to provide ease of movement for the duration of its lifespan.
If ironing is required to maintain a crisp appearance, use a maximum sole-plate temperature of 150°C. This prevents scorching of the synthetic components while smoothing the cotton blend. For a thorough deep clean, the jacket is also suitable for professional dry cleaning using tetrachloroethene.
