Performance in an ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) environment depends on the continuity of the conductive grid within the fabric. Caring for your product
To maintain the anti-static performance of these trousers, it is vital to follow the care instructions precisely. We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C. This temperature is effective at removing oils and contaminants that can accumulate in industrial settings, which could otherwise interfere with the garment's conductive properties.
Under no circumstances should bleach be used. Bleaching agents will chemically degrade the conductive fibres, permanently destroying the anti-static protection of the garment. For drying, use a low-heat tumble dry setting. High temperatures can damage the synthetic fibres and cause shrinkage, which may affect the fit and the integrity of the conductive grid.
If ironing is required, use a maximum temperature of 150°C. This ensures the trousers remain professional and smart without the risk of melting the polyester or conductive components. For stubborn stains, professional dry cleaning using Tetrachloroethene is permitted and will help preserve the life of the garment without affecting its safety rating.
