Caring for your product
To maintain the technical integrity and conductive properties of the carbon fibres, it is essential to follow the recommended care instructions. Proper maintenance ensures the garment continues to provide the necessary protection for your sensitive work environment and lasts as long as possible.
We recommend a maximum wash temperature of 40°C using a normal process. Exceeding this temperature can damage the cotton fibres and affect the garment’s fit and longevity. Please avoid the use of bleach, as harsh chemicals will degrade the carbon fibre weave, potentially compromising the anti-static performance that is vital for your safety.
This garment should be line dried rather than tumble dried. Tumble drying can lead to excessive shrinkage and may induce unwanted static, which is counterproductive for an ESD garment. If ironing is required, please use a maximum temperature of 150°C to avoid damaging the technical carbon fibres. Professional dry cleaning is permissible using Tetrachloroethene under a normal process if required for stubborn industrial stains.
