Product Overview
The Stormtech Women's Avalante system jacket is a masterclass in technical versatility, designed to meet the demands of professionals who face unpredictable weather conditions. This multi-functional garment utilizes a 3-in-1 system that redefines how workwear adapts to the environment. It combines a high-performance waterproof outer shell with a removable, high-loft insulated liner, allowing you to configure the jacket as a full winter coat, a lightweight waterproof shell, or a standalone thermal layer. The soft-touch bonded fabric provides a professional aesthetic while maintaining the rugged performance required for outdoor site visits and daily commutes.
Key Features
- The STORMTECH H2XTREME waterproof and breathable outer shell provides superior protection against heavy rain while allowing internal moisture to escape, keeping you dry and comfortable.
- Fully sealed seams ensure that water cannot penetrate the stitching, providing a complete barrier in challenging environments.
- The feather-free thermal shell offers significant warmth without the bulk or maintenance requirements of traditional down, retaining heat even in damp conditions.
- A modular design allows the quilted inner jacket to be zipped in or out in an instant, providing synergy between the layers for maximum thermal efficiency.
- The removable hood offers further customisation, allowing you to streamline the jacket's profile when the forecast is clear.
Design & Performance
Engineered with a 100% polyester twill outer and a smooth polyester taffeta lining, the Avalante is a substantial, durable garment built for longevity. The fabric has a medium-to-heavyweight feel that conveys quality without restricting movement. The integration between the outer shell and the quilted inner jacket is seamless, ensuring that when worn together, they function as a single, thermally robust unit. The breathable membrane is rated to handle significant moisture, making it as suitable for physical activity as it is for static roles in cold climates.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The Avalante jacket is well-suited to both print and embroidery, making it a versatile choice for corporate branding. For a sophisticated and enduring professional appearance, we recommend embroidery for company logos and staff names on the chest or sleeve. The substantial nature of the polyester twill fabric supports high-density stitching exceptionally well. Alternatively, for bold branding or large back designs, our technical printing processes provide a crisp, vibrant finish. Every garment is handled by our expert in-house team in Telford, drawing on our heritage established in 1976 to ensure your branding is executed with precision.
Use Cases
This jacket is an essential choice for female professionals in management, surveying, or site-based roles where a smart appearance must be balanced with practical weather protection. Its adaptable nature makes it perfect for those who transition between temperature-controlled offices and exposed outdoor sites throughout the working day.

Practical Advice
Available in sizes S to XL, this jacket is designed with a feminine fit that allows for layering without becoming cumbersome. When selecting your size, we recommend considering the thickness of the clothing you intend to wear underneath the thermal liner to ensure optimal comfort and range of movement.
Caring for your product
To maintain the technical performance of the H2XTREME waterproof membrane and ensure the longevity of your custom branding, we recommend a cold machine wash. Using cold water prevents the degradation of the fabric's specialized coatings and helps keep colours vibrant.
Do not tumble dry this garment. Excessive heat from a dryer can damage the bonded fabrics and compromise the integrity of the sealed seams, potentially leading to a loss of waterproof functionality. Instead, hang the jacket to air dry naturally.
Do not iron the jacket. The high heat of a domestic iron will damage the synthetic polyester fibres and could melt the internal waterproof barrier, rendering the garment ineffective in wet weather.
