Caring for your product
To maintain the thermal performance and water-repellent properties of your jacket, it is essential to follow specific care guidelines. We recommend a very mild wash at a maximum of 30°C. Using a gentle cycle protects the delicate down clusters inside the chambers, ensuring they do not clump and lose their ability to trap heat.
Bleach should be avoided at all times, as it can degrade the recycled polyester fibres and permanently damage the Bionic Finish ECO water-repellent coating.
Tumble drying is permitted at a low temperature. This is actually beneficial for down garments as it helps to 'fluff' the feathers back into their optimal positions, restoring the jacket's insulating properties and preventing the filling from becoming flat.
If ironing is required, use a maximum sole-plate temperature of 110°C and do not use steam. Excessive heat or moisture from steam can compromise the synthetic shell and the loom-woven seals. Finally, do not dry clean this garment, as the harsh chemicals can strip the natural oils from the down, leading to a loss of warmth over time.
