Product Overview
The DX4 Hybrid Baffle Jacket is a sophisticated piece of outerwear engineered for professionals who require a balance of warmth and physical agility. Utilising an ergonomic body-mapped design, this jacket targets insulation where it is most needed while ensuring the wearer is not restricted during manual tasks. The combination of a quilted core and flexible sleeves makes it a versatile choice for variable UK weather conditions, serving as either a standalone outer layer or a substantial mid-layer.
Key Features
- Body-Mapped Design: This construction ensures the jacket follows the natural movements of the body, reducing bulk and improving comfort during active work.
- Insulatex Padded Panels: These thermal panels provide essential core warmth by trapping heat, ensuring you stay productive in colder environments.
- Knitted Sleeves: The use of stretch fabrics in the arms allows for an unrestricted range of motion, which is vital for tasks requiring reaching or lifting.
- Secure Storage: Equipped with two zipped side-entry chest pockets and additional internal pockets, providing safe and accessible storage for tools, phones, and personal items.
- Anti-Static Finish: The Titanmill Ultra nylon shell features an anti-static treatment, which helps prevent the build-up of static electricity in sensitive work environments.
Design & Performance
The technical performance of the DX471 is rooted in its material composition. The shell is crafted from Titanmill Ultra 100% Nylon 300T, a lightweight yet resilient fabric that offers a smooth, professional finish. For movement, the contrast panels integrate a blend of polyester, viscose, and elastane, providing the necessary 'give' for a demanding workday. The internal filling is a medium-weight polyester insulation that offers thermal efficiency without the excessive weight of traditional padded coats.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The DX4 Hybrid Baffle Jacket is well-suited for both print and embroidery, allowing you to create a cohesive company identity. For a distinguished professional appearance, we recommend embroidery for your company logo on the chest; the baffle panels are designed to hold stitch work securely. If your branding requires larger, more vibrant graphics on the back, our high-quality print processes are an excellent alternative. Every customisation is managed by our expert in-house team in Telford, drawing on decades of experience to ensure your brand is represented accurately.
Use Cases
This jacket is ideally suited for site managers, surveyors, and tradespeople who move frequently between indoor and outdoor environments. Its streamlined profile also makes it an excellent choice for delivery drivers and logistics staff who require warmth without the restriction of a heavy parka.

Practical Advice
The DX4 series is designed with a modern, ergonomic fit. If you intend to wear multiple thick layers beneath the jacket, you may wish to consider one size larger than your standard measurement. However, for most users, the stretch properties of the sleeves allow for a comfortable fit over a standard polo shirt or base layer.
Caring for your product
To maintain the technical properties of the Insulatex panels and the anti-static finish, it is important to follow the recommended care instructions carefully.
We advise a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 30°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures can degrade the synthetic fibres and may cause the baffle panels to lose their loft, which reduces the jacket's insulating capabilities.
Do not use bleach, as harsh chemicals will damage the nylon shell and compromise the integrity of any custom embroidery or print. Similarly, this garment should not be dry cleaned.
The jacket must be drip line dried and should never be tumble dried. Excessive heat from a dryer can melt the synthetic components and damage the elastane in the sleeves. Finally, do not iron this product; the materials are naturally crease-resistant, and direct heat from an iron will cause permanent damage to the fabric surface.
