Product Overview

The Yoko Hi-vis two-tone bomber jacket is a robust, well-engineered garment designed for professionals who require maximum visibility and weather protection. Certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 3 and EN343 Class 3:1, this jacket ensures safety in hazardous environments while offering defense against foul weather. The smart two-tone design is not merely aesthetic; the navy contrast panels are strategically placed to maintain a corporate image while hiding the inevitable grime that accumulates during a day's work.

Key Features
  • EN ISO 20471 Class 3 & EN343 Compliance: Meets the highest standards for high-visibility and waterproof protection, ensuring you remain seen and dry in the most challenging conditions.
  • Waterproof Oxford PU Coated Fabric: The exterior is designed to repel water effectively, supported by fully stitched and taped seams for a complete waterproof barrier.
  • Quilted Insulation: Featuring a quilted nylon lining and substantial polyester wadding, this jacket provides significant warmth during winter months.
  • Strategic Navy Contrast: The darker fabric at the hem and cuffs serves to disguise dirt and grease, extending the time between washes and preserving a professional look.
  • Functional Storage: Equipped with two large outer pockets with storm flaps, an inside patch pocket, and a dedicated mobile pocket on the right breast for secure equipment storage.

Design & Performance

Constructed from 100% polyester with a heavy-duty Oxford weave, this jacket is built for longevity. The substantial weight of the padding provides excellent thermal insulation without making the garment overly restrictive. The front is secured with a heavy-duty zip and a studded storm flap to prevent wind and rain from penetrating the fastening.

To ensure comfort and a secure fit, the jacket features navy elastication at the cuffs and hem, which helps to trap heat and prevent drafts. The concealed hood is tucked into the collar for convenience, featuring a drawcord adjuster to provide a secure fit during high winds.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This bomber jacket is an excellent candidate for both print and embroidery. Embroidery is highly recommended for company logos or staff names, providing a durable and professional appearance that withstands the rigours of site work. For larger, more impactful branding on the back, our high-quality print services offer a sharp and vibrant finish.

Our experienced team in Telford, who have been perfecting their craft since 1976, handles all customisation in-house. We ensure that every logo is applied with precision, maintaining the integrity of the garment's safety features while enhancing your brand identity.

Use Cases

This jacket is ideal for workers in construction, logistics, and roadside maintenance where high visibility is a legal or safety requirement. Its professional appearance also makes it suitable for site managers and supervisors who need to remain visible while representing their company to clients.

Practical Advice

This jacket is designed with a generous fit to accommodate layering. If you intend to wear a thick sweatshirt or fleece underneath, your standard size should suffice. We recommend referring to the size guide to ensure the best fit across the chest and shoulders for ease of movement during physical tasks.

Caring for your product

To maintain the high-visibility properties and the waterproof integrity of this jacket, it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a synthetic cycle. This helps to remove dirt without damaging the delicate PU coating.

Do not use biological powders or bleach. These chemicals are too harsh for the fluorescent dyes and can cause the high-visibility colours to fade, potentially rendering the garment non-compliant with safety standards. Always use a non-biological detergent.

The jacket should not be ironed, tumble-dried, or dry-cleaned. High heat from these processes can melt the waterproof membrane and damage the reflective tapes. Instead, allow the jacket to drip dry naturally.

Please note that this garment has a maximum limit of 25 wash cycles. Exceeding this may reduce the effectiveness of the reflective materials and the background fabric, so it is important to monitor the garment's condition regularly for safety.
