Product Overview
The ProRTX High Visibility Bomber Jacket is a foundational piece of workwear designed for those who require both warmth and maximum visibility in challenging environments. This jacket combines the classic, functional silhouette of a bomber with the rigorous safety standards required for modern industrial sites. Engineered to withstand the colder months, it features a zipped front fastening reinforced by studded storm flaps, providing an effective barrier against biting winds and driving rain.
Key Features
- Foldaway Hood: Provides immediate protection against sudden downpours and can be neatly stowed when not in use to prevent snagging.
- Taped Seams: Every seam is meticulously sealed to ensure the jacket remains fully waterproof, keeping the wearer dry during prolonged exposure to the elements.
- Diamond Quilted Lining: This internal structure traps heat effectively, providing essential thermal insulation without unnecessary bulk.
- Comprehensive Reflective Taping: Strategically positioned over the shoulders, around the arms, and across the body to ensure the wearer is visible from all angles.
- Elasticated Hem and Cuffs: Creates a secure fit that prevents cold draughts from entering the garment, maintaining a consistent core temperature.
Design & Performance
The exterior of this jacket is constructed from a hard-wearing 300D Oxford polyester shell. The PU coating on this fabric provides a robust waterproof shield that is easy to wipe clean after a day on-site. Inside, the garment features a substantial polyester padding and a smooth taffeta lining, which allows the jacket to glide over base layers and sweatshirts without sticking. The combination of the heavy-duty outer shell and the quilted interior makes this a sturdy, dependable garment for winter work.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This bomber jacket is an excellent canvas for company branding, and it is fully compatible with both print and embroidery techniques. For a superior finish and a traditional professional appearance, we recommend embroidery for company logos and staff names, as it stands up exceptionally well to the rigours of outdoor work. For larger, more vibrant displays of your brand, our high-quality printing process ensures your message remains clear and bold.
Our expert team in Telford has been perfecting these techniques since 1976, ensuring that every garment leaving our facility meets our exacting standards for quality and durability.
Use Cases
This jacket is ideally suited for professionals working in construction, logistics, and roadside maintenance where high-visibility and weather protection are non-negotiable. Its durable construction also makes it a sensible choice for site managers and surveyors who require a professional yet practical outer layer during site inspections in inclement weather.

Practical Advice
The generous sizing range from S to 5XL ensures that all members of your team can be accommodated. We recommend choosing your standard size, as the bomber cut is designed with sufficient room to allow for comfortable layering over a fleece or thick sweatshirt. If you are frequently between sizes, the elasticated hem offers a degree of flexibility in the fit.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility properties and the integrity of the waterproof coating, it is essential to follow the correct care procedures. We recommend a domestic machine wash at 40°C to effectively remove dirt and grease which can otherwise dull the reflective tapes.
Do not use bleach, as this will degrade the polyester fibres and significantly reduce the effectiveness of the fluorescent dyes. Ironing should be avoided entirely, as the high heat will melt the PU coating and damage the quilted lining.
We advise against tumble drying or dry cleaning this garment. Instead, allow the jacket to drip dry naturally. Excessive heat and chemical solvents used in dry cleaning will compromise the taped seams and the adhesive used for the reflective tapes, ultimately shortening the lifespan of your workwear.
