Product Overview
The Yoko Hi-vis classic motorway jacket is an essential garment for professionals working in high-risk environments where visibility and weather protection are paramount. Engineered to withstand the rigours of the British climate, this substantial jacket combines a robust outer shell with a warm, quilted interior. It is designed to keep you dry and visible on the motorway, rail network, or construction site, ensuring you can focus on the task at hand regardless of the forecast.

- Constructed with a heavy-duty zip and a studded storm flap to prevent wind and rain from penetrating the front of the jacket.
- Features knitted storm cuffs within the sleeves to block cold draughts and keep warmth trapped inside.
- Includes a concealed hood with a drawcord adjuster, allowing for flexible protection that can be tucked away when not required.
Design & Performance
This jacket is built for longevity and performance. The outer fabric is a high-denier polyester with a PU coating, providing a resilient barrier against wind and water. To ensure complete waterproof integrity, every seam is fully stitched and taped, preventing moisture from seeping through the stitch lines. Inside, the jacket features a nylon lining over generous quilted padding, providing thermal insulation without being overly restrictive. The choice of a substantial, sturdy fabric ensures the garment can handle the daily wear and tear of a busy worksite.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
At MyWorkwear, we understand that your uniform is your business card. This motorway jacket is well-suited for both embroidery and print. For a prestigious and professional appearance, we recommend embroidery for your company logo on the chest; it is durable and withstands repeated laundering. If you require large-scale branding or safety text on the back, our high-quality printing process ensures bold, clear designs that maintain their impact. All customisation is handled in-house at our Telford facility by a team with expertise dating back to 1976.
Use Cases
This jacket is the definitive choice for motorway maintenance crews, recovery drivers, and construction professionals who require Class 3 visibility. The orange version is specifically required for rail workers under RIS-3279-TOM. Its warm padding also makes it ideal for outdoor marshals, security personnel, and warehouse staff working in cold, unheated environments.

Practical Advice
With an expansive size range from S to 6XL, this jacket is designed to accommodate various body types. Given the quilted padding, we recommend checking the sizing guide to ensure a comfortable fit over your usual work layers. If you are working in exceptionally wet conditions, consider pairing this with matching waterproof trousers for full-body protection.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility properties and waterproof integrity of this jacket, it is essential to follow the care instructions precisely. The garment should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a synthetic cycle. Avoid using biological powders, as the enzymes can degrade the specialised coatings and reflective tapes over time.
Do not use bleach, as this will irreparably damage the fluorescent pigments and reduce the jacket's safety rating. This garment should not be tumble dried, wrung, or ironed; heat and mechanical stress can delaminate the PU coating and damage the reflective strips. Simply allow it to drip dry naturally.
Please note that this garment has a maximum limit of 25 wash cycles. Exceeding this may diminish its reflective performance, meaning the jacket will no longer provide the certified level of protection required for high-risk environments.
