The Result Workguard RE23A Management Coat is a sophisticated yet robust solution for professionals who require high-visibility protection without compromising on executive styling. Engineered with a longer cut, this coat offers superior coverage against the elements, making it an essential garment for site managers, supervisors, and outdoor workers who need to maintain a professional appearance in challenging weather conditions. This heavy-duty coat prioritises both safety and functionality, ensuring you remain comfortable and protected throughout the working day.
Key Features
- Fully-taped seams ensure that water cannot penetrate the stitching, providing reliable protection during heavy rainfall.
- A zip-away concealed hood with a drawcord allows for rapid adjustment to changing weather conditions while maintaining a streamlined look when not in use.
- Integrated 50mm sewn-on safety tapes enhance your visibility in low-light environments, meeting critical safety requirements for work-site visibility.
- The dedicated mobile phone pocket ensures your essential communication devices are both secure and easily accessible throughout the working day.
- A stud-closing storm flap provides an additional barrier against wind and rain, protecting the central zip opening from moisture ingress.
Design & Performance
Constructed from a substantial 420D Oxford nylon with an acrylic coating, the outer shell of this management coat is both windproof and waterproof up to 1600mm. This durable fabric is specifically engineered to withstand the rigours of daily wear on active sites, resisting abrasions and maintaining its structural integrity. Inside, a quilted polyester lining provides significant thermal insulation, making it a dependable choice for colder months. The weight of the garment reflects its sturdy, heavy-duty nature, offering a sense of security and warmth that lighter alternatives cannot provide.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This garment is specifically designed with customisation in mind, featuring a concealed access point in the inner back hem to facilitate clean branding without interfering with the lining. For a professional and long-lasting corporate image, we recommend embroidery for company logos and individual names. This method provides a high-quality finish that withstands regular laundering and looks excellent on the heavy-duty Oxford fabric.
Alternatively, for large-scale branding or complex designs, transfer and screen printing are excellent options that stand out against the high-visibility background. Our expert team at our Telford facility, established in 1976, handles all customisation in-house, ensuring your branding is applied with precision to maintain the coat's professional aesthetic.
Use Cases
This management coat is ideally suited for individuals in leadership or supervisory roles within construction, logistics, and civil engineering. Its combination of high-visibility safety features and a more formal, longer-length cut makes it perfect for moving between the site office and active work zones. It is particularly effective for outdoor staff who require a garment that is as functional as it is presentable in a management capacity.

Practical Advice
The RE23A is designed with a generous fit to accommodate layering over corporate wear or fleeces. We recommend checking the sizing guide to ensure the best fit, as the longer cut provides extra coverage but may feel different from standard-length jackets. When layering, consider that the quilted lining already provides substantial warmth, so a lightweight mid-layer is often sufficient.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility properties and waterproof integrity of this garment, it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Using higher temperatures can damage the acrylic coating and the reflective safety tapes, reducing the coat's effectiveness over time.
Do not use bleach, as this will degrade the safety tapes and compromise the fabric strength. We also advise against dry cleaning or tumble drying; the heat and chemicals involved can strip the waterproof coating and cause the garment to lose its shape. Finally, do not iron this coat, as direct heat will melt the nylon outer shell and damage the internal quilted insulation.
