Product Overview

The Tee Jays All Weather Winter Jacket is a sophisticated piece of outerwear designed for professionals who refuse to let the British weather dictate their productivity. This jacket seamlessly blends modern aesthetic appeal with technical performance, offering a high level of protection against the elements without the bulk of traditional winter coats. Constructed using a high proportion of recycled materials, it caters to the environmentally conscious business while maintaining a sharp, corporate appearance suitable for any client-facing role.

Key Features
  • Four-Way Stretch Fabric: This allows for a full range of movement, ensuring the jacket moves with you rather than resisting your actions, which is essential for active roles.
  • Taped Seams: By sealing the stitched areas, this jacket ensures that moisture cannot penetrate the internal layers, keeping you dry in persistent rain.
  • DuPont Sorona Padding: This bio-based insulation provides excellent thermal retention while remaining lightweight, offering a more sustainable alternative to traditional down.
  • Removable Adjustable Hood: The hood can be detached for a cleaner, more formal look or tightened with drawstrings to protect against high winds.
  • Hidden Storm Cuffs: Elasticated cuffs tucked inside the sleeves prevent cold air from travelling up your arms, maintaining a consistent core temperature.

Design & Performance

The performance of this jacket lies in its advanced two-layer fabric construction. By combining 88% recycled polyester with 12% elastane, Tee Jays has created a shell that is both durable and incredibly flexible. The jacket feels substantial and protective, yet the lightweight nature of the fabric ensures you won't feel weighed down during a long shift.

Attention to detail is evident in the inclusion of high-quality SBS zips, known for their reliability and smooth operation. The interior is lined with smooth recycled polyester, allowing the jacket to glide easily over mid-layers. Performance is further enhanced by the adjustable hem, which can be cinched to trap heat, and the warm lining within the front pockets, providing a welcome reprieve for cold hands.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This garment has been specifically engineered with customisation in mind, featuring a design that is 'prepared for embroidery'. For businesses seeking a premium, long-lasting finish, embroidery is the recommended choice for breast logos or staff names, as the needlework interacts perfectly with the sturdy two-layer fabric.

Should you require larger, more vibrant branding across the back, our advanced printing techniques are equally effective. All customisation is handled in-house at our Telford facility, where our team—drawing on nearly half a century of expertise—ensures your corporate identity is rendered with precision and durability.

Use Cases

This jacket is an ideal choice for site managers, surveyors, and delivery professionals who require a garment that looks professional enough for meetings but performs well in the field. Its understated, modern design also makes it a perfect choice for corporate uniform programmes where a unified, high-quality appearance is paramount.

Practical Advice

The Tee Jays TJ117 offers a generous size range from Small up to 5XL, ensuring a professional fit for your entire team. Given its thermally efficient DuPont Sorona padding, this jacket performs exceptionally well over a simple polo shirt or lightweight knitwear. For those working in particularly harsh conditions, there is ample room to layer a mid-weight sweatshirt underneath without compromising movement.

Caring for your product

To ensure this jacket continues to provide maximum weather protection and maintains its professional appearance, it should be machine washed at a temperature no higher than 30°C. Using a cooler cycle protects the technical elastane fibres and the recycled polyester from heat damage, which can lead to a loss of shape.

It is vital to close all SBS zippers before placing the garment in the wash. Leaving zips open can cause the metal teeth to snag against the outer fabric or the internal lining, potentially causing irreparable tears. Additionally, the jacket should be washed separately to avoid dye transfer from other garments.

Under no circumstances should this jacket be tumble dried or left to soak. High heat from a dryer can delaminate the technical layers and damage the taped seams, while soaking can weaken the fabric's water-repellent properties. Simply hang the jacket to air dry naturally to preserve its structural integrity.
