Product Overview
The WX2 Eco Hi-Vis Rain Jacket is a well-engineered garment designed to provide reliable protection for professionals working in foul weather conditions. This jacket balances safety and sustainability by utilising recycled polyester, ensuring that your workforce remains visible and dry while meeting environmental objectives. Its stylish two-tone design in Orange and Black offers a modern aesthetic without sacrificing the high-visibility requirements essential for hazardous sites.
Key Features
- Pack-away hood: Provides immediate protection against sudden downpours and can be neatly stowed when not in use to prevent snagging.
- Large pockets: Offers ample storage for essential tools and personal items, keeping them accessible yet protected from the elements.
- Double storm flap: Creates a secondary barrier over the zip to prevent wind and rain from penetrating the front of the jacket.
- Stain-resistant finish: Helps the garment repel oil and water, ensuring the high-visibility fabric remains clean and effective for longer.
Design & Performance
The technical integrity of this jacket lies in its 300D Oxford weave fabric. This construction provides a durable, hard-wearing exterior that can withstand the rigours of daily manual labour. The shell is crafted from 100% recycled polyester, which is then double PU coated to achieve superior waterproof performance. Inside, a lightweight Taffeta lining ensures the jacket is comfortable to wear for extended periods, preventing the clammy feeling often associated with waterproof outerwear.
Despite its robust protective capabilities, the jacket is constructed from a lightweight fabric, making it an excellent choice for active roles where heavy, restrictive clothing would be a hindrance. The two-tone contrast not only adds a professional edge but also hides dirt in high-contact areas, maintaining a superior finish throughout the working day.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
To ensure your team presents a professional appearance, the WX2 Eco Hi-Vis Rain Jacket is fully compatible with both print and embroidery customisation. Our in-house team, established in 1976 and based in Telford, manages every step of the process to ensure the highest quality results.
Embroidery is highly recommended for company logos and individual names, providing a durable and high-quality finish that withstands regular laundering. For larger, more complex designs or high-impact branding on the back of the jacket, our precision printing services offer a vibrant and bold alternative. Regardless of your choice, we ensure the branding is applied without compromising the waterproof integrity of the garment.
Use Cases
This jacket is ideally suited for professionals in construction, logistics, and highways maintenance. It is particularly effective for site managers and outdoor operatives who require high-visibility protection that can be easily layered over other workwear as weather conditions shift. It provides the necessary safety compliance for rail and roadside environments where visibility is paramount.

Practical Advice
This is a lightweight rain jacket, making it highly versatile for year-round use. During colder months, we recommend layering it over a fleece or a thermal sweatshirt to provide insulation without bulk. When choosing your size, consider what you will be wearing underneath to ensure a comfortable fit that allows for a full range of movement.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the technical performance of your rain jacket is essential to ensure it continues to provide safety and protection throughout its lifespan.
We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Exceeding this temperature can damage the PU coating and the recycled fibres, leading to a loss of waterproof capabilities and a reduction in the garment's structural integrity.
Under no circumstances should bleach be used on this garment. Bleaching agents will degrade the high-visibility dyes and the reflective properties of the tape, making the jacket unsafe for use in low-light environments. Similarly, do not dry clean the jacket, as the chemicals used in the process can strip the stain-resistant finish.
The jacket should be drip line dried only. Do not tumble dry or iron this product. The high heat from tumble dryers and irons will melt the waterproof coating and damage the polyester fabric, effectively ruining the garment's performance. Finally, please note that this jacket is rated for a maximum of 50 washes; beyond this point, the high-visibility properties may fall below the required safety standards, and the garment should be replaced.
