Practical Advice
The R118A is a substantial jacket that offers excellent warmth. When selecting your size, consider what you intend to wear underneath. The microfleece lining provides significant insulation, so a standard base layer or polo shirt is often sufficient. If you work in extremely cold environments and prefer to wear a heavy sweatshirt underneath, you may wish to consider the generous end of the size range to ensure ease of movement.
Caring for your product
To maintain the technical integrity of the three-layer fabric and the TPU membrane, we recommend a domestic wash at 40°C. Washing at this temperature effectively removes dirt and sweat while protecting the bonded layers from delamination.
Do not use bleach, as harsh chemicals will degrade the waterproof membrane and the elastane fibres, leading to a loss of shape and weather protection. Similarly, this jacket must not be ironed; the high heat of an iron can melt the synthetic fibres and damage the internal technical layers. We also advise against dry cleaning, as the chemicals used in that process can strip the water-repellent finish from the outer fabric.
