Product Overview
The Result Core Junior Winter Parka (R207J) is a robust and dependable outer layer designed to protect young people from the harshest winter conditions. Engineered with StormDri 2000 technology and fully taped seams, this parka provides a complete barrier against wind and rain while remaining breathable enough for active use. Its long fit design offers extended coverage, ensuring that heat is retained and the elements are kept at bay, making it an essential piece of equipment for any outdoor school activity or junior work requirement.
Key Features
- The StormDri 2000 waterproof and windproof coating, combined with fully taped seams, ensures that the wearer remains dry even during prolonged exposure to wet weather.
- A high collar with fleece facing and a super warm fleece-lined interior provides immediate comfort and protection against wind-chill in sensitive areas.
- The concealed 3-panel hood is conveniently stowed within the collar, offering versatile weather protection that can be deployed instantly when the clouds burst.
- Two concealed front pockets with storm covers and fleece lining provide a warm refuge for hands and secure storage for small essentials.
- Reflective cuff details are integrated to enhance visibility during dark winter mornings and evenings, providing an essential safety feature for junior wearers.
Design & Performance
This parka is constructed from a durable 100% StormDri PU coated polyester outer, which has been specifically chosen for its ability to withstand the rigours of daily wear. The interior is filled with substantial quilted polyester wadding and padding, providing excellent thermal insulation without making the garment feel overly cumbersome. The inclusion of a heavy-duty full front zip ensures the jacket is easy to operate even with cold hands, while the adjustable drawcord hem allows the wearer to seal in warmth and customise the fit to their preference.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The R207J parka is an excellent canvas for customisation, featuring specific access points at the hem and left chest to ensure a superior finish. Embroidery is highly recommended for school crests, club logos, or individual names, providing a professional and long-lasting appearance that stands up to regular laundering. For larger, high-impact branding or group identification, our direct or transfer printing methods offer a bold and clear finish.
Since 1976, our team in Telford has been providing expert customisation services. We understand how to work with technical waterproof fabrics to ensure your branding looks exceptional without compromising the garment's protective properties.
Use Cases
This parka is perfectly suited for school uniforms, youth outdoor organisations, and junior sports teams who require a uniform appearance during the winter months. It is also an ideal choice for young people assisting in outdoor family businesses or agriculture, where staying warm and dry is a matter of practical necessity rather than just comfort.

Practical Advice
The size range covers juniors from age 3/4 through to 13/14. When selecting a size, consider the layers that will be worn underneath; a slightly more generous fit will allow for a heavy school jumper or sweatshirt without restricting movement. The cut-away label also makes this garment easy to re-brand for specific organisations.
Caring for your product
To maintain the technical performance of the StormDri coating and ensure the taped seams remain effective, we recommend a domestic wash at 40°C. Washing at higher temperatures can degrade the waterproof membrane and weaken the adhesive used on the seams.
Avoid the use of bleach at all costs. Bleach will break down the polyester fibres and cause significant fading to both the garment and any custom embroidery or print you have applied.
If ironing is required, use only a low heat setting. High heat can cause the synthetic outer fabric to melt or distort, which will permanently ruin the waterproof capabilities of the parka. We also advise against tumble drying; the garment should be allowed to air dry naturally to preserve its shape and the integrity of the quilted insulation.
