Product Overview
The Result Core Junior soft padded jacket is a technically proficient solution for youth outerwear, designed to offer a contemporary puffer aesthetic while meeting the functional demands of active children. This garment is engineered to be exceptionally soft and lightweight, providing thermal insulation without the restrictive bulk often found in traditional winter coats. Its showerproof and windproof properties ensure that youngsters remain protected during school runs or outdoor activities, while the integral hood provides immediate coverage against the elements.
Key Features
- Heavy-duty front and pocket zips are selected for their durability, ensuring the jacket withstands frequent use by active children without hardware failure.
- The integral hood offers a fixed protection solution, eliminating the risk of lost or detached components while providing consistent shelter from wind and rain.
- Reflective hip details are strategically positioned to enhance visibility during low-light conditions, providing an essential safety feature for the winter months.
- A hinged inner neck panel and tag-free design facilitate easy self-branding, making this an ideal choice for clubs and schools looking for a professional appearance.
Design & Performance
This jacket is constructed with a 100% polyester outer shell, lining, and fill, creating a cohesive system for warmth and weather resistance. The fabric is specifically designed to be quiet to wear, avoiding the distracting rustling sounds common in synthetic outerwear. The medium-weight polyester filling provides a substantial thermal barrier, while the soft-bound cuffs and hem ensure a comfortable, close fit that traps heat and prevents draughts. Furthermore, the garment's compact design allows it to be easily packed away, making it a practical choice for school bags and travel.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The Result Core Junior jacket is highly adaptable for both print and embroidery. Embroidery is recommended for school crests or club logos, offering a professional, three-dimensional finish that maintains its integrity through daily wear. For larger, more impactful designs, our high-quality printing process ensures vibrant results. All customisation is performed in-house at our Telford facility by our expert team. Having been established in 1976, MyWorkwear has the heritage and technical expertise to ensure your branding is executed with precision.
Use Cases
This jacket is an excellent choice for junior school uniforms, providing a smart and uniform look for pupils during the colder months. It is equally suitable for youth sports teams, scout groups, and outdoor community organisations that require a practical, weather-resistant garment for their members.

Practical Advice
The size range is comprehensive, catering to children from age 2/3 (XXS) through to 13/14 (2XL). We recommend choosing a size that allows for a medium-weight layer, such as a school jumper or sweatshirt, to be worn underneath comfortably. The tear-away label is a significant benefit for those wishing to fully rebrand the garment for retail or specific club merchandise.
Caring for your product
To preserve the technical performance and the quality of your custom branding, it is essential to maintain this jacket correctly. Proper laundering ensures the showerproof finish remains effective and the insulation retains its loft.
When washing, avoid using high temperatures as excessive heat can damage the synthetic polyester fibres and cause the padding to lose its shape. The use of bleach must be strictly avoided, as it will degrade the fabric colour and can ruin the threads used in custom embroidery.
For drying, we advise against using high-heat cycles, which can compromise the integrity of the outer shell. Ironing is not recommended for this padded garment, as direct heat can melt the polyester material and permanently flatten the internal insulation.
