Product Overview
The Regatta Professional Omicron III waterproof fleece represents a significant step up from standard mid-layers. While it carries the soft, comfortable aesthetic of a traditional fleece, it is engineered with a technical Isotex 5000 membrane drop liner. This internal layer ensures the garment is both waterproof and breathable, providing a robust barrier against the British weather without the bulk of a heavy jacket. Designed for professionals who require a smart appearance alongside practical outdoor performance, this medium-weight fleece is as functional as it is professional.
Key Features
- Isotex 5000 Membrane: This technical drop liner provides reliable waterproof protection and breathability, keeping you dry and comfortable during active work.
- Anti-Pill Symmetry Fleece: The high-quality polyester fabric is treated to prevent the formation of small bobbles, ensuring the garment maintains a clean, professional look even after repeated wear and washing.
- Secure Zipped Storage: Equipped with two zipped lower pockets and one chest zip pocket, providing secure space for tools, phones, or personal items.
- Internal Embroidery Access: Features a concealed zip in the lining, allowing for high-quality customisation without compromising the waterproof integrity of the outer layer.
Design & Performance
Constructed from 100% polyester, the Omicron III is designed for durability and ease of movement. The symmetry fleece fabric is notably soft to the touch but possesses a dense structure that provides excellent thermal insulation. The addition of the Isotex membrane is the standout performance feature; it allows moisture vapour to escape during physical exertion while preventing rainwater from penetrating the fabric. The result is a highly versatile garment that performs like a technical jacket while retaining the lightweight feel and flexibility of a fleece.
Customisation: Embroidery Only
Due to the textured surface and technical composition of the symmetry fleece, we provide embroidery as the sole customisation method for this garment. Printing methods often fail to adhere correctly to fleece fibres, whereas embroidery provides a premium, permanent finish that sits perfectly within the pile. Our Telford-based team has been specialising in in-house embroidery since 1976, ensuring every stitch is precise. The Omicron III is specifically designed with an internal zip to allow our embroidery frames access to the chest area, ensuring your branding is applied professionally without stitching through the waterproof membrane or leaving the backing visible on the interior.
Use Cases
This fleece is an ideal choice for site managers, surveyors, and field-based technicians who need to balance a corporate image with the realities of working outdoors. It is equally suited for logistics and delivery drivers who frequently move between a vehicle and the elements. Its breathable nature makes it a reliable choice for active roles where temperature regulation is a priority.

Practical Advice
The Omicron III features a standard male fit with a size range from Small to 3XL. When selecting your size, consider what you intend to wear underneath; while it functions perfectly over a polo shirt, those planning to wear it over thicker layers may wish to check the chest measurements provided. It serves excellently as a standalone outer layer in damp conditions or as a substantial mid-layer under a heavy coat in extreme winter weather.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the technical properties of the Isotex membrane is essential for the longevity of this garment. We recommend a standard machine wash to keep the fabric clean and the pores of the membrane clear.
Always wash dark colours separately. This prevents any potential dye migration from affecting the vibrancy of your embroidered logo or the lighter fibres of the fleece.
Do not iron this garment. High heat from an iron can damage the polyester fibres and, more critically, melt or degrade the waterproof membrane hidden within the lining. Similarly, you must not tumble dry this fleece; the intense heat of a dryer can compromise the technical liner. For best results, allow the garment to air dry naturally; the quick-drying nature of the fabric ensures it will be ready for your next shift in short order.
