The Extreme climate stopper fleece features a fashion-led cut which is slightly more tailored than a standard fit. If you intend to wear multiple thick layers beneath this fleece, you may wish to consider sizing up. However, for most users, the inherent warmth of the 3-layer bond means a standard base layer is usually sufficient. Use the adjustable hem to fine-tune the fit depending on your activity level.
Caring for your product
To maintain the technical performance and the integrity of the waterproof membrane, we recommend a domestic wash at 40°C. Regular washing at this temperature helps remove salt and dirt that can clog the breathable pores of the fabric.
You must avoid using bleach, as this will chemically damage the polyester fibres and degrade the internal membrane, leading to a loss of weather resistance. This garment should not be ironed; the heat from an iron can melt the synthetic microfleece and cause permanent damage to the bonded layers.
Furthermore, do not dry clean or tumble dry this fleece. Tumble drying can cause the bonded layers to delaminate and may shrink the garment. We recommend air drying to ensure the fleece retains its shape and technical properties for the long term.
