Product Overview
The Result Recycled StormDri 4000 jacket represents a significant step forward in sustainable technical outerwear. This garment is designed to provide reliable, year-round protection against the British weather while significantly reducing environmental impact. Engineered from 100% recycled polyester derived from plastic bottles and post-industrial waste, it offers a robust solution for businesses looking to enhance their environmental credentials without compromising on staff comfort or performance. This is a substantial, medium-weight jacket that balances thermal efficiency with total waterproof capability.
Key Features
- Double-stitched taped seams: By reinforcing the seams and sealing them, this jacket ensures that water cannot penetrate the most vulnerable points of the garment, keeping the wearer dry in heavy rain.
- Integrated concealed hood: The hood is stored within the stand-up collar, providing immediate protection during sudden downpours while maintaining a streamlined appearance when not in use.
- Stud-closing storm flap: This additional layer covers the heavy-duty full zip, preventing wind and rain from forcing their way through the fastening mechanism.
- Recycled polyester fleece lining: The internal lining provides essential warmth during colder months, trapping heat effectively while remaining breathable.
- Zip-closing side pockets: These provide secure storage for essential tools or mobile devices, ensuring items remain protected from both the elements and accidental loss.
Design & Performance
The StormDri 4000 fabric is a high-performance material that provides a reliable barrier against moisture. The outer shell is a medium-weight recycled polyester that is both durable and flexible, allowing for a full range of movement on site. Inside, the fleece lining adds a layer of insulation that makes this jacket suitable for transitional seasons and colder winter days alike. The inclusion of elasticated cuffs and a stand-up collar further aids in heat retention, while the reflective outer hang loop adds a subtle but practical safety element.
From a sustainability perspective, this jacket is at the forefront of the industry. Not only is it manufactured from recycled materials, but it is also designed to be recyclable at the end of its life cycle. The use of Amfori BSCI accredited manufacturing processes ensures that ethical standards are maintained throughout the supply chain.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The Result Recycled StormDri 4000 is an excellent canvas for corporate branding. For a sophisticated and enduring finish, we recommend embroidery. Our Telford-based team, with expertise dating back to 1976, uses high-quality threads to ensure your company logo or staff names are rendered with precision and durability. Embroidery is particularly suited to this medium-weight fabric, as it handles the density of the stitching with ease.
For larger, high-visibility branding or promotional messaging, film or screen printing is a viable alternative. This method allows for bold, vibrant designs that stand out clearly against the jacket's outer shell. Regardless of the method chosen, all customisation is handled in-house at our UK facility to ensure the highest standards of quality control.
Use Cases
This jacket is ideally suited for professionals working in outdoor environments where weather protection is non-negotiable. It is a popular choice for site managers, delivery personnel, and facilities maintenance teams. Its smart, uniform appearance also makes it suitable for corporate events or as a standard-issue garment for technical staff who frequently travel between indoor and outdoor locations.

Practical Advice
The jacket is designed with a generous fit to allow for layering over sweatshirts or technical base layers. When selecting your size, consider the bulk of the garments you intend to wear underneath. The size range extends from Small to 3XL, ensuring a consistent look across a diverse workforce. The elasticated cuffs help to manage sleeve length for those on the shorter end of the size spectrum.
Caring for your product
To maintain the waterproof integrity of the StormDri 4000 fabric and ensure the longevity of your custom branding, we recommend a domestic wash at 40°C. Washing at higher temperatures can damage the recycled polyester fibres and cause the waterproof membrane to degrade prematurely.
Do not use bleach, as this will compromise the colour fastness of the garment and can weaken the recycled materials. It is also essential to avoid dry cleaning and tumble drying. The high heat of a tumble dryer can cause the fabric to shrink or warp, and it may damage the adhesive used in printed designs.
Finally, do not iron this garment. The synthetic nature of the recycled polyester means it is prone to melting under direct heat. Simply hang the jacket to air dry; the fabric is designed to shed water quickly and will naturally return to its shape without the need for pressing.
