Product Overview

The ProRTX RX305 Pro half-neck zip sweatshirt is a robust and sophisticated choice for professionals who require a reliable mid-layer. Designed to offer a balance between a structured professional appearance and the practical needs of manual work, this sweatshirt is constructed from a substantial heavyweight polycotton fleece. The half-zip design provides versatility, allowing the wearer to adapt to changing temperatures throughout the working day while maintaining a smart, uniform look.

Key Features
  • YKK half-zip and puller: Utilising industry-standard hardware ensures the fastening remains reliable and smooth, even after extensive use in demanding environments.
  • Twin-needle stitching: This reinforcement at the arms, cuffs, and hem significantly increases the garment's structural integrity, preventing seam failure during physical activity.
  • Brushed inner fleece: The internal fabric is treated to create a soft, lofted texture that effectively traps heat, providing essential insulation in colder conditions.
  • 2x1 rib on cuffs and hem: These elasticated elements ensure the sweatshirt retains its shape over time and creates a secure fit that prevents cold draughts from entering.

Design & Performance

The performance of the RX305 is defined by its blend of 55% cotton and 45% polyester. This specific composition combines the natural breathability and comfort of cotton with the hard-wearing, crease-resistant properties of polyester. The result is a heavyweight fabric that feels substantial and protective, standing up to the rigours of the workplace without compromising on movement.

The design features a modern yet comfortable fit, engineered to look sharp while allowing for a full range of motion. The inclusion of a sewn tag and a high-quality YKK zip underscores the attention to detail, while the availability of plus sizes up to 4XL ensures that entire teams can be outfitted in a consistent, professional manner.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The RX305 is an excellent candidate for corporate branding. For those seeking a traditional and highly durable finish, embroidery is particularly recommended. It is well-suited for company logos on the chest, providing a premium, three-dimensional look that withstands frequent laundering.

If your branding requires larger or more complex graphics, the smooth surface of the polycotton blend is also perfectly suited for high-quality printing. Our Telford-based team, established in 1976, manages all customisation in-house, ensuring that your branding is applied with technical precision and remains vibrant throughout the life of the garment.

Use Cases

This sweatshirt is a versatile essential for sectors such as construction, facilities management, and logistics. Its professional zip-neck profile also makes it a popular choice for site managers and tradespeople who move between active work and client-facing meetings, requiring a garment that performs well in both settings.

Practical Advice

The RX305 features a modern fit that is intended to be both functional and flattering. If you intend to wear this sweatshirt over several layers, such as a thermal base and a heavy polo shirt, you may find that moving up one size provides additional comfort. The inclusive size range ensures a professional fit is achievable for all body types.

Caring for your product

To maintain the high-quality finish and technical performance of this sweatshirt, we recommend a machine wash at 60°C. This higher temperature is ideal for removing the oils and dirt often encountered in trade environments while ensuring the polycotton blend remains stable.

Avoid the use of bleach, as this will weaken the fabric fibres and lead to premature fading of both the garment colour and your custom branding. For drying, a low heat tumble dry is recommended to prevent excessive shrinkage. When ironing, use a low setting and avoid direct heat on any printed areas to prevent damage to the customisation. Finally, do not dry clean this garment, as the process is unnecessary and can be abrasive to the fleece lining.
