Caring for your product
To ensure your sweatshirt and its custom embroidery stay in peak condition, a little care goes a long way. We recommend a domestic machine wash at 30°C. This cooler temperature helps to maintain the integrity of the cotton fibres and prevents the embroidery from puckering, which can happen if the fabric shrinks at higher temperatures.
Only use non-chlorine bleach if absolutely necessary. Standard bleach is far too aggressive and will lead to colour degradation and weakened fibres. When it comes to drying, use a low heat setting in the tumble dryer. High heat is the enemy of Spandex and can lead to the cuffs losing their elasticity over time.
Under no circumstances should you iron this garment. Aside from the fact that life is too short to iron a sweatshirt, direct heat can damage the embroidered threads and flatten the soft fleece interior. Dry cleaning is also off the menu, as the chemicals used can be unnecessarily harsh on the ringspun cotton blend.
