Caring for your product
Maintaining the product's performance is essential for long-term safety and garment longevity. Following the correct care procedures ensures the flame-resistant properties and the integrity of any custom branding remain intact.
We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Exceeding this temperature can damage the specialised fibres and may cause unnecessary shrinkage, which could affect the fit and comfort of the sweatshirt.
Do not use bleach when cleaning this garment. Bleaching agents will chemically degrade the flame-resistant fibres, significantly reducing the protection level provided to the wearer and potentially damaging any embroidered or printed logos.
This item should not be tumble dried. To preserve the shape and the elasticity of the ribbed cuffs and hem, we advise that the garment is line dried. Avoiding the high heat of a tumble dryer also helps to prevent fabric fatigue.
If ironing is necessary, use a cool setting with a maximum temperature of 110°C. Excessive heat from an iron can damage the modacrylic and carbon fibre components. Furthermore, do not dry clean this garment, as the solvents used in the process can interfere with the fabric's technical properties.
