Product Overview
The WX2 Eco Stretch Holster Trousers represent a sophisticated approach to modern workwear, balancing high-performance utility with environmental responsibility. Constructed from a durable eco-conscious polycotton blend, these trousers are engineered for the professional who requires both the resilience of traditional workwear and the flexibility of modern technical apparel. The integration of stretch panelling ensures that mobility is never compromised, even in demanding working positions.
Key Features
- Multi-functional Holster Pockets: These pockets provide immediate access to essential tools and fixings, effectively acting as an integrated tool belt to increase on-site efficiency.
- Top-Loading Kneepad Pockets: Designed for easy insertion of protection, these pockets allow for essential knee safety when working on hard surfaces, meeting EN 14404 standards when used with compatible pads.
- Multi-way Thigh Pocket: A dedicated secure space for mobile phones, keys, and precision tools, ensuring your most valuable items are protected but reachable.
- Stretch Panelling: Strategically placed panels allow for a full range of movement, reducing fabric resistance when bending, climbing, or kneeling.
Design & Performance
The primary fabric is Kingsmill Polycotton Eco, a medium-weight blend of 65% recycled polyester and 35% cotton. This combination provides the breathable comfort of cotton with the hard-wearing durability of polyester. To ensure these trousers do not restrict the wearer, contrast panels of Kingsmill Polyester Stretch Eco—containing 7% elastane—are utilised in key areas. This dual-fabric construction means the garment maintains its professional structure while providing a level of agility usually reserved for sports apparel.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
At MyWorkwear, we understand that your uniform is a reflection of your business standards. These holster trousers are suitable for both print and embroidery customisation. For a refined, professional finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos or staff names, typically applied to the pocket flaps or thigh area. If you require larger, high-impact branding, our printing services provide a bold and clear finish.
Our in-house team in Telford has been perfecting these processes since 1976, ensuring that your branding is applied with precision and will withstand the rigours of daily trade work.
Use Cases
These trousers are an excellent choice for electricians, plumbers, and carpenters who require frequent access to hand tools and fixings. They are equally suited to warehouse managers and maintenance engineers who need a professional-looking garment that doesn't hinder movement during active shifts.

Practical Advice
These trousers are designed in a regular fit to accommodate natural movement. When selecting your size, consider whether you will be wearing base layers during colder months, as the stretch panelling provides some flexibility but the waistband remains structured for support.
Caring for your product
To maintain the structural integrity and the eco-properties of the recycled fabrics, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C. Washing at higher temperatures may cause premature degradation of the elastane in the stretch panels, leading to a loss of shape.
Do not use bleach on this garment. Harsh chemical bleaching will weaken the polycotton fibres and cause significant fading to the black pigment, undermining your professional appearance.
For drying, use a low temperature tumble dry setting. High heat can damage the recycled polyester content and potentially affect the adhesion of printed logos. If ironing is required, ensure the temperature does not exceed 150°C to avoid scorching the technical fibres.
Professional dry cleaning using Tetrachloroethene is permitted for removing stubborn industrial stains that a standard wash may not reach, helping to extend the lifecycle of your workwear.
