Product Overview
The DX4 Detachable Holster Pocket Shorts represent a sophisticated approach to modern workwear, specifically engineered for professionals who demand both agility and durability. By integrating high-performance stretch fabrics with a modular pocket system, these shorts allow for a seamless transition between various site tasks. The design focuses on ergonomic movement, ensuring that the wearer is never restricted, whether climbing ladders or working in confined spaces.
Key Features
- Dynamic 4X Stretch Fabric: Features targeted placement of high-stretch materials to provide an unrestricted range of movement, which is essential for maintaining comfort during active shifts.
- High-Rise Back Waistband: The waistband is cut higher at the rear and includes side elastication, providing consistent coverage and a secure fit in all working positions.
- Triple-Stitched Seams: Reinforced with three rows of stitching throughout the garment to ensure maximum durability and prevent seam failure under heavy stress.
- Detachable Holster Pockets: Offers flexible storage for tools and fixings, allowing the user to remove them when not required to reduce weight and bulk.
Design & Performance
The performance of these shorts is anchored by the Titanmill Pro Stretch shell fabric, a polyester and elastane blend that provides a medium-weight, substantial feel while allowing for significant flex. For enhanced longevity, the garment incorporates Titanmill Plus Ripstop and CorePro nylon-elastane panels in high-wear areas. This strategic combination of materials ensures the shorts remain robust against abrasions while maintaining the breathability and flexibility required for warm-weather work.
Why No Customisation?
We supply this item without customisation to protect the integrity of its technical construction. The use of 4-way stretch panels and the complex arrangement of the holster pocket system mean that traditional embroidery or heat-printing could interfere with the fabric's elasticity and functional performance. By providing these shorts as-is, we ensure you benefit from the full range of movement and durability intended by the designers.
Use Cases
These shorts are a primary choice for tradespeople operating in active, demanding environments during the summer months. They are particularly well-suited for carpenters, electricians, and site supervisors who require immediate access to tools via holster pockets but need the cooling and flexibility of technical shorts.

Practical Advice
The DX4 range is designed with a modern, active fit. When selecting your size, consider the tools you intend to carry in the holster pockets; if you are at the upper end of a waist measurement, opting for a larger size will allow the side elastication to provide the most comfortable fit throughout the day.
Caring for your product
Proper maintenance is vital to ensure that the technical stretch properties and structural integrity of the shorts are preserved. Following these instructions will help extend the lifespan of your workwear and maintain its professional appearance.
We recommend a standard domestic wash at 40°C. Washing at higher temperatures can permanently damage the elastane fibres, leading to a loss of elasticity and shape. You should never use bleach, as these harsh chemicals will degrade the synthetic fibres and compromise the fabric's strength.
To avoid heat damage, do not tumble dry this garment. Instead, it should be drip-lined dried in the shade. Exposure to the high heat of a dryer can cause the technical fabrics to shrink. If ironing is necessary, ensure the iron is set to a maximum of 150°C to prevent melting or glazing of the synthetic materials. Finally, do not dry clean, as the industrial solvents can strip the fabric of its essential properties.
