Product Overview
The DX4 Craft Holster Shorts represent a significant advancement in workwear design, specifically engineered for professionals who require both durability and unrestricted movement. By integrating Titanmill Pro Stretch fabric, these shorts adapt to your body's movements, ensuring that the physical demands of your workday do not compromise your comfort or performance.
Key Features
- Dynamic 4-Way Stretch: The targeted placement of flexible fabric allows for a maximum range of movement, essential for active roles involving frequent bending or stretching.
- High-Rise Back Waistband: Designed to provide additional coverage and protection when kneeling or bending, ensuring the garment stays in place throughout the day.
- Side Elastication: This feature provides a secure and comfortable fit, accommodating movement and ensuring the waistband does not dig in during strenuous activity.
- Triple Stitching: Reinforced seams throughout the garment provide superior strength, significantly extending the life of the shorts in high-stress environments.
- Integrated Holster Pockets: Provides convenient, accessible storage for tools and fixings, reducing the need for additional tool belts.
Design & Performance
Constructed with a primary blend of polyester and elastane, the shell fabric provides a sturdy foundation that stretches as you move. The inclusion of CorePro and Titanmill Plus Ripstop in high-wear areas ensures that the shorts can withstand the rigours of a busy site. These materials are chosen for their resilience against abrasions and tears, while the triple stitching provides a reinforced structure that prevents premature wear at the seams.
The design is focused on the active professional, with a weight that feels substantial without being restrictive. The breathable nature of the synthetic blend ensures comfort during warmer weather, while the technical fabric maintains its shape even after extensive use.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
To ensure your team presents a professional appearance, the DX4 shorts are suitable for both print and embroidery. For a refined, lasting finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos and individual names, as it stands up exceptionally well to frequent laundering and heavy use. Alternatively, for larger, high-impact branding, our printing services provide a crisp and bold result. Each customisation is handled by our expert in-house team in Telford, maintaining the high standards we have set since 1976.
Use Cases
These shorts are an excellent choice for tradespeople operating in environments where mobility is paramount, such as carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work. The holster pockets make them particularly useful for those who need constant access to hand tools. They are equally suited for site managers and surveyors who require a professional yet functional summer workwear option.

Practical Advice
Given the inclusion of side elastication and a high-rise back, these shorts offer a forgiving and secure fit. We recommend choosing your standard waist size. For a complete professional look, consider pairing them with a moisture-wicking polo shirt or a technical base layer from our range to manage perspiration effectively during physical work.
Caring for your product
To maintain the performance of the stretch fabrics and the integrity of your custom branding, proper care is essential. Following these guidelines will ensure your garment remains professional in appearance and functional in use.
We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Exceeding this temperature may damage the elastane fibres, leading to a loss of the 4-way stretch properties that make these shorts unique. It also helps to preserve the colour of the fabric and any embroidery.
Avoid the use of bleach, as this will degrade the fabric and cause significant discolouration. When drying, a low-temperature tumble dry or drip line drying is preferred. High heat in the dryer can cause shrinkage and affect the longevity of your embroidered or printed logos. We recommend drip line drying to allow the garment to retain its shape naturally.
Do not iron these shorts. The technical synthetic fibres are designed to remain wrinkle-free, and direct heat from an iron could melt the materials. Dry cleaning should also be avoided to prevent chemical damage to the specialised fabric compositions.
