Product Overview

The Ultrasonic Heated Tunnel Jacket represents a sophisticated leap in thermal workwear engineering. Designed to provide consistent warmth in the most demanding cold-weather conditions, this jacket integrates carbon fibre heated panels directly into the garment structure. Unlike traditional insulated jackets that rely solely on passive heat retention, this active heating system ensures the wearer remains comfortable even during periods of inactivity or extreme temperatures. The sophisticated heat-sealed baffle design ensures that warmth is trapped where it is needed most, while maintaining a professional and streamlined appearance.

Key Features

  • Carbon fibre heated panels provide active warmth, strategically positioned to maintain core body temperature during long shifts in cold environments.
  • Three adjustable heat settings allow for precise temperature control via a discreet chest button, enabling the wearer to adapt to changing weather conditions instantly.
  • An included rechargeable battery offers between 3 and 10 hours of continuous heat, providing reliable coverage for the duration of a standard working day.
  • Innovative heat-sealed baffle fabric eliminates traditional needle holes, significantly improving water resistance and preventing the migration of insulation through the seams.
  • Premium InsulatexPro filling offers superior loft and thermal efficiency, providing excellent warmth without adding unnecessary bulk to the garment.

Design & Performance

This jacket is constructed from a high-density 100% Polyester 300T Microfibre shell, which features an anti-static finish to prevent discomfort and lint build-up during repetitive movements. The shell is lightweight yet remarkably resilient, providing a professional silhouette that does not hinder mobility. The inclusion of a 100% polyester lining and InsulatexPro filling ensures that even when the heating elements are not active, the jacket provides substantial thermal protection through high-performance insulation.

The technical innovation lies in the ultrasonic heat-sealed baffles. By bonding the fabric layers together without stitching, the jacket effectively blocks wind and moisture from penetrating the seams—a common failure point in standard padded garments. This technical approach results in a more durable, weather-resistant jacket that performs reliably in varied outdoor conditions while maintaining a contemporary, clean-lined design.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The Ultrasonic Heated Tunnel Jacket is well-suited for both print and embroidery, allowing your business to maintain a professional identity while keeping staff protected from the elements. For a traditional, superior finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos and individual names on the chest. This provides a durable and prestigious appearance that withstands the rigours of daily work.

Alternatively, if you require larger branding or high-visibility logos, our precision printing processes ensure your design remains sharp and vibrant. Our in-house team at MyWorkwear, based in Telford since 1976, oversees every stage of the customisation process to ensure your branding meets our exacting standards and respects the technical integrity of the jacket's integrated heating elements.

Use Cases

This jacket is an ideal choice for site managers, surveyors, and outdoor professionals who spend long durations in exposed environments. It is equally valuable for those working in cold storage facilities or logistics roles where rapid temperature fluctuations are common. Its sleek, black aesthetic also makes it suitable for front-of-house staff or transport workers who require a professional appearance without sacrificing essential thermal performance.

Why MyWorkwear

With a heritage dating back to 1976, MyWorkwear has decades of experience in providing technical garments to British industry. We understand that workwear must be functional, durable, and representative of your brand. Operating from our specialised facility in Telford, we combine traditional expertise with modern customisation techniques to deliver garments that perform as well as they look, ensuring your team is equipped for any challenge.

Practical Advice

To maximise the efficiency of the heated panels, we recommend wearing the jacket over a thin, moisture-wicking base layer rather than bulky jumpers. This allows the heat to transfer more effectively to the body. Ensure the battery is fully charged before a shift, and utilise the lower heat settings during active periods to extend the overall battery life.

Caring for your product

To maintain the performance and safety of the integrated heating components, it is essential to follow the specific care guidelines provided. We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 30°C using a mild process. Exceeding this temperature can damage the carbon fibre panels and compromise the integrity of the microfibre shell.

Do not use bleach, as harsh chemicals will degrade the polyester fibres and the water-resistant qualities of the heat-sealed baffles. The jacket must not be tumble dried; instead, it should be line dried in an upright position to ensure the internal insulation and components remain in their correct placement.

Ironing is strictly prohibited, as direct heat can melt the microfibre fabric and permanently damage the internal electronic wiring. Similarly, do not dry clean this garment, as the chemical solvents used in the process are incompatible with the heating technology.
