Caring for your product
To maintain the high-performance waterproof coating and the integrity of the welded seams, it is essential to follow the specific care instructions provided. Failure to do so may result in the degradation of the PU layer and a loss of water resistance.
We recommend a maximum wash temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures or using aggressive cycles can damage the polyester tricot base and cause the PU coating to peel.
Do not use bleach, as this will chemically break down the fabric fibres and compromise the garment's protective properties. Similarly, the jacket should never be tumble dried; the heat from a dryer can melt the welded seams and the PU coating. Instead, we advise that the jacket is drip line dried.
Ironing and dry cleaning must be avoided entirely. Direct heat from an iron will cause immediate and permanent damage to the waterproof membrane, while the solvents used in dry cleaning are too harsh for the PU-coated fabric.
